Definitely the best momos I’ve ever had! We ordered the Steamed Beef Momos and the Pan Fried Pork Momos. I preferred the flavor of the beef, but I loved the texture combination of the pork. Their sauces hit my ideal level of spice, and the plating was very nice as well. While we were waiting, the staff informed us that the chef had accidentally made chicken momos instead of pork, and it would take an extra five minutes. To make up for it, the waitress kindly offered us three free chicken momos! The staff and owners here are so kind and passionate about the food at this restaurant. I'll definitely be back!

Been trying to get here for months and well, it was worth the wait! Excellent service provided the chef/owner who is obviously passionate about his menu and business. The dishes were exquisite and worth every penny. They offer a range of flavours, and menu items from very mild to a flavourful heat and vegan to full on carnivore. Everything made from scratch with love. Can’t wait to return to try more of the menu! We ordered a ton of food so the final bill was high but you could easily be well satisfied with a meal and drink or two for $45-60 per person. The beverage menu could use some work to be paired better with the food BUT, this is a very new restaurant and independently run so no doubt that will come with time.

If you need momos, then you need Momo Ghar. The Nepali / Tibetan take on dumplings (momos) is part of a continuum of world cuisine that stretches from east to west (whether known as: momos, xiao long bao, khinkali, manta, boulettes, or simply dumplings - it’s all good). And Momo Ghar does it the best. I first encountered Momo Ghar on an exploration of Toronto’s Bloor West Village, and have had the pleasure of dining there twice. (Once with a good friend from work, and the other with my family from overseas). Particular favourites are the: Kurkure, Jhol, Tandoori, Chili and Butter Chicken momos - pretty much anything on the menu (between two visits we ordered them all). But I liked the fried Kurkure momos (beef) and Tandoori momos (chicken) the best… and the Chili momos (I forget which filling: beef, chicken?) with medium spice, great consistency in the sauce and perfect amount of sweet heat. My friend is an old pro at Nepali and Indian cuisine, and he gave it full approval. Lunch mid-week around 1:30pm was quiet and afforded great opportunity for conversation. My visiting family was amazed at the diversity of flavours, spices, and textures of these little packages of delicious meat and sauce. This was their first time tasting the culinary riches of Nepal and Tibet, and they loved it. The place was packed at 8:00pm on a Sunday evening, we were wise to make reservations. It made for a fantastic end to their trip to Canada. The photos below are from my first visit.

I stumbled upon a delightful spot for Tibetan cuisine on Bloor Street when I was heading to Janchenko’s Bakery and noticed *Momo Ghar* right next door. I decided to give it a try, and I'm so glad I did! I ordered the steamed chicken momos, and they were absolutely amazing—comforting, hot, and juicy, with a beautiful presentation topped with their house-made sauce. It truly hit the spot. The vibe inside the restaurant is equally inviting, transporting you to the heart of Tibet. It’s cozy and perfect for enjoying a comforting meal. We also tried the cauliflower bao from the shareable section, but unfortunately, it was a bit of a letdown. The size was quite small, just one piece, and didn't feel "shareable" at all. While the waitress mentioned they usually cut it in half, for the price, it was underwhelming. That said, the momos were the real highlight, and I’d definitely go back for them. If you’re craving authentic and delicious momos, *Momo Ghar* is definitely worth a visit!

Had such an amazing meal here! Service was so friendly and helpful when me and my partner were trying to decide what to get. The decor is very pretty and colourful, and even though they were very busy, almost all tables full, in person pickups, and Uber going off quite frequently our food was brought to us super quick. It was so delicious, one of the best meals I’ve had in the city in a long time. Both myself and my partner were blown away by the amount of flavour in every dish. Definitely on the spicy side so if that’s not your vibe make sure to check with the server about spice levels! I can’t wait to come back!

This Tibetan momo restaurant is now one of our favourite local spots. Everyone needs to try Momo Ghar. All of the dishes we had were out of this world! My absolute personal favourites are the Jhol Soup Momo pork & Tibetan Laphing. The restaurant feels so homey, and they play fire music! We will be going back to eventually try the entire menu.

The momo’s are super delicious. At first, I thought it was a little pricey but it was a good quantity for the price. Will have to wait for a table as dining area is small and it gets crowded on the weekends. Worth the wait.
