We had a lunch here, table of 4. Freshest sushi you will ever taste for very reasonable price. Amazing service! Kevin the owner is personable and he explains to you everything you eat.

Great intimate atmosphere, where the restaurant seats around 10-12 people at the sushi bar for omakase. Our chef was friendly and explained each sushi to us. Every dish was of refined taste. Really good variety in flavours. We had lunch here and felt that the portion was just enough. We added an extra chirashi and split it between 3 people because we wanted try more. 😋 Overall, I felt the price was fair for the value.

Mizu on Midland is an absolute gem. The staff were welcoming and attentive, ensuring our cups were never half-empty. Our sushi chef (we wish we remembered his name!) had a fantastic sense of humor and incredible expertise, making the experience both fun and memorable. Every course, from appetizer to dessert, was prepared with precision, elegance, and care. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the presentation was stunning. If you’re looking for an exceptional omakase experience, Mizu is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back!

The quality of the fish was impressive, especially the tuna, which was incredibly fresh and delicious. At CAD 95+, this meal offers great value that you just can’t find in Hong Kong. Definitely a spot to visit for sushi lovers!

I came here to try the omakase, priced at $95 for dinner. The chef was knowledgeable, and the experience didn't feel rushed or uncomfortable, which I really appreciated. Surprisingly, the highlight of the entire dinner for me was the egg dish. While all the sushi and sashimi were fresh and good, nothing else really stood out as much as the egg. Overall, it was a solid, classic omakase spot.

I had my first meal at this restaurant, and I was very impressed with the food quality! Each dish was a nice surprise, showing a great balance of flavors and creativity, especially given the reasonable prices. I felt, however, that adding some upgraded options for certain dishes could improve the overall experience and make it even more enjoyable. One dish that really stood out for me was the Monk Fish Liver. It was the best I’ve had in Toronto so far! The texture was creamy, and there was no fishy taste, which can sometimes happen with seafood. It paired well with other elements on the plate, showing the chef's skill. Every piece of sushi I tried was fresh and full of rich flavors. I was particularly impressed when the chef asked about my taste preferences and adjusted the seasoning. It felt personalized, making each bite more enjoyable. If I could suggest one thing, the sushi rice could be improved to better match the quality of the other dishes. The staff were friendly and welcoming, creating a warm atmosphere that added to my dining experience. Their genuine smiles and attentive service made the restaurant feel inviting. I look forward to my next visit and can't wait to see how the menu changes!

We had a very good experience. Both staffs and sushi chefs (s/o to chef K) are nice and knowledgeable. As a first time guest, we felt the warm and inviting welcome. The place is clean, the ingredients are fresh and the sushi are made to perfection. I recommend this place especially for special occassion. (Your wife will love it 😅)

Really enjoyed the omakase here. My friend and I made a booking couple weeks in advance. The sushi chef was really nice and kind explaining to us in English even tho we understand Cantonese. Every piece of sushi was fresh and tasty. I would definitely come back.
