Food is not fresh. Tempura tasted like cardboard. Rolls are decent. Curry was ok. Portions are so tiny. Overpriced.

The food quality have slipped dramatically from its good days ten years ago. It used to be my go to Japanese operated restaurant, now it’s empty during lunch time on weekend. The shrimp tampura is still good but everything else is sus.

Like a neighborhood japanese restaurant. I think it runs by a Japanese lady and a chef. I wanted to try my lunch somewhere new, and this place seems to exist for long, but I've never been. So I decided to make a visit. We ordered Miyabi set for two, which came with salad, steamed egg(which I love), assorted sushi and sashimi, ice cream for dessert. Food serving is very slow. You need to be very patient. But yes, it's really fresh and feels like you are invited to a Japanese house for lunch. Our tea was refilled every 10 minutes. I would go again when I'm not in a rush or take out next time.

We, two of us, came here for a simple dinner, we were ended up with surprusely disappointed. The food was arriving with the small portions and it took almost 45 minutes for food arrival. We paid roughly $14.95 for appetizer sashimi, $27.95 for Chirashi Sushi, and worst food order in my life was $13.95 for Beef in curry sauce with rice (the serving size was way too small and only 2 tiny piece of beef!). We were all left deeply disappointed and hungry, i guess we couldn't really justify the real cost and time for average Japanese food. We will not be coming back again…so sorry we could not give a better rating!!

2023 October 3.5★ A small authentic Japanese restaurant that has a home feel. It's not upscale, nor fancy. Not on the internet or have that modern feel. In fact, you'll still see the old small tube televisions hung up in the ceiling. You'll find this place to be run by the original owners. The menu has everything! Seriously. What you'll find here is that they do everything. Sushi. Sashimi. Takoyaki. Sukiyaki. Okonomiyaki. Etc. Yakiniku appetizer 13.95 Cooked beef in their special sauce. This was so so. Syokado bento 38.95 Not bad. A bit of everything. Almost like a kaiseki style but in a bento. Certainly worth checking out. Samma 7.95 If you like this type of fish, it's ok. Beef Takaki 10.95 Was pretty good. Would recommend. Masai 8.95 Kani sushi 8.95 Negihama 8.95 Spider 10.95 All the sushi was good. A bit thinner than expected. The spider roll seemed dry. Shrimp Okonomiyaki 12.95 Pretty good, but was small. A one bite appetizer for 4. It's nice and gives a home feel. Though the prices are a bit more expensive. What they really need is more people to come and thus lower their pricing. It's ok. Certainly good food (some better than others) that you should try.

I really wanted to like this place, but found it over priced, with very small portions and slow service. We went for lunch. We were initially the only customers there, which should have been a sign. The waitress was very sweet and nice, but paying $20 for a tempura bento box with such little food, was definitely not worth it. I'm sad to say that I cannot recommend it and will not come back. I will say that the shrimp were large and I did see there was a BOGO deal after we left so I bumped my review up one star to three stars.

My partner and I had a great dinner experience at Miyabi Japanese Restaurant. The restaurant is run by Chef Arasaki, who was working behind the sushi bar. The waitresses at front of the house were excellent, providing a warm welcome and ensured all guests were well taken care of. Each piece of sushi and hand roll was made to order and was very fresh. As there was only one person making the sushi, the food may take a bit longer, but this ensures the freshness and quality of each dish. This is not a restaurant for a quick bite but rather an enjoyable dinner out. We certainly enjoyed our experience here and would recommend those looking for a delicious sushi night to come to Miyabi.
