We quite enjoy this local restaurant for all you can eat sushi. The price is great, especially if you go for lunch. The food is tasty, hot, and pretty quick with a lot of options. We have tried many sushi restaurants throughout the GTA and this remains one of our go to's especially for the price.

The service is subpar at best. It appears the management has changed or the service simply has drastically declined recently. Was ‘greeted’ by one of the wait staff and when we asked for a table for our party she simply pointed to a table without saying a word or even a smile. They brought over some tea and the tea was literally room temperature. It seems they had previously poured this tea and the cups had just been sitting out there for who knows long. We told the young man who serving us and he simply said ‘ oh sorry ‘. Eventually another waitress replaced the tea without any kind of word or explanation. Throughout the evening we kept asking for basic things that should have been automatically provided. And each time it seemed we were annoying the waitress Again, no smiles, no word of apology or any kind. Simply a straight face. The food was ok. Wonton soup lacked flavour, tasted watered down. As the rolls started coming we realized they had not provided the wasabi and pickled ginger that is customary at a sushi restaurant. So we asked for it. Again no acknowledgement whatsoever and although we had a party of three, they only brought one serving of said items. The wasabi tasted nothing like wasabi it had no flavour or that punch you expect from wasabi. The soy sauce also tasted watered down and even looked watered down. This was an overall disappointing experience to say the least. Will not be coming back as a result.

Very cozy little restaurant and very clean. The staff are attentive and polite. There was only one other table when I came in so I'm not sure how fast things come out when it's a bit busier, but the food came out at a good pace. Everything was a great temperature, it didn't feel like anything had been sitting. The ingredients taste nice and fresh, and everything that has been fried clearly has been fried in clean oil. Nothing fried tasted heavy, or of other flavours. The avocado in rolls was the perfect ripeness, and everything was presented very nicely. It's clear the chefs here take the time to make things properly rather than rushing or using subpar ingredients or methods. The real star here is the rice. It's perfectly fluffy and has a polished texture that lends well to the subtle seasoning. Too many AYCE places don't pay attention to the rice and it shows, but reach piece of sushi, maki, and temaki I had was perfectly rolled and a wonderful texture. Would absolutely come back, and definitely recommend visiting here if you're in the area. Edit: I totally forgot to mention the gyoza! The filling is very flavorful and the texture is perfect. It's not heavily stuffed with cabbage, and the pork hasn't been overworked or overcooked. Absolutely delicious!

Take out never tasted so good!! Had The General Tso and Spicy Crab Sushi Pizza. Though I feel it could be spicier. I do understand that most Canadians can't take the heat, but it was very flavorful. Plenty of food for your money. The staff is very kind and it is very reasonable priced. I highly recommend it if you are in Bowmanville.

Have dined in, done takeout, or had delivery probably 30 times over the past 10 years or so. Consistently good. Yes the dining room is barebones, but it's just the way I like it; it might not be classy, but it is cozy, and the fact that they haven't changed it in all these years makes it feel like home. Pro tip: If you're doing takeout, there's only one thing to pair it up with and that's an amazing brew from Chronicle Brewing Co. here in town.

Quiet, good service and sushi quality/quantity vs price for lunch menu was amazing. Had a great time dining with a friend. Would go again in a heart beat.

All you can eat available but not the only option. Not the biggest menu but everything is reasonably sized (not too much so you can order a variety) and tasty. Vegan and vegetarian options are abundant. Food is freshly made as ordered, which takes a bit of time, but not too much since it's a small restaurant. Nothing beats freshly fried tempura. Atmosphere is small and cozy. Overall, a really nice experience for a day when you just want to EAT.
