Mithaas Sweets & Restaurant

Tried chaat papri and Dahi gol gappe. The taste was below average, lack of salt, spices, and no tamarind sauce in either. We also ordered a beef kebab roll, the kebab inside was hard like a rock. The paratha tasted good and fresh. Chai was average, nothing great. I don't recommend this place.

We recently visited Mithas Restaurant for breakfast and were delighted to discover this amazing restaurant in Oshawa for Halwa Puri. The ambiance was inviting, the food was truly 5-star, and the service was exceptional. A special shoutout to Aman and the owner, Mr. Zahid, for their kindness and polite demeanor. This place has won us over, and we’ll definitely be coming back every week with our family. Highly recommend it to everyone in the neighborhood!

I wasn't expecting to find such a great burger at this spot, but I was pleasantly surprised. The patty was juicy and flavorful, topped with fresh veggies and a tangy sauce that added the perfect kick. The bun was soft and toasted just right. I always order sweets from Mithaas and I love it. I always find it fresh and not stale at all. Their gift box is also beautiful.

I don’t know about other items, But the only thing I purchased from them was Gajar ka Halwa that was so bad in taste. It lacked mewa, it wasn’t fresh and it wasn’t sweet at all. I called the shop and they were saying we don’t add much sugar as kisi ko sugar ki problem ho sakti hai. It made no sense. Ironically their restaurant name is “mithaas” They sell the costliest gajar ka halwa among all the Indian restraunts, almost double the price and it tasted like the worst. Instead of offering a compensation, remake or a refund, they just said we will take care of it for the next time.. if you guys do not care about the ruined experience of a customer and the hard earned money they spend on your food then there’s no point of running food business. I have had bad food at other places as well but the resolution to my complaints were always better than a “sorry”. I think you really don’t care about feedback and word of mouth among the customers. I would never visit there.

Ordered take out and the staff was very nice but it took an extremely long time for our order to be prepared. The food was delicious, I particularly enjoyed the paratha rolls! However the butter chicken was an extremely small portion with only 2 pieces of chicken in it. Though we enjoyed the food we are unlikely to return as the value wasn't there.

The food was overpriced and unflavoured. The sweets were old and not tasty, you can tell they are using cheap ingredients. Seems like the samosas were cooked previously and refreshed in old oil, on top of that they took forever to come out and for $1.50 they are so small. The lady at the front desk was nice, but inattentive. Literally wearing headphones and staying in the back when she was done taking order. Overall the restaurant has a cheap ambiance. This is just my opinion, try it for yourself. I will not be back.
