We went on a weekday so was seated almost immediately. Food was great, not as spicy as before for some reason, but still very tasty. I recommend the briskets which were served in huge flavored pieces. I also noticed a lot of other people ordered the skewers pot so will try that next time. Unrelated to restaurant - parking in this area is terrible as usual, we had to pay GreenP and still need to walk two streets over. I recommend walking over if you live in the area.

My husband and I had lunch here today. We loved every dish and ate them quickly as soon as they were served. You can tell from the photo.😅 Highly recommend the Beef Lover Skewers combo in red chili spicy soup and Deep Fried Tofu in Garlic Sauce. Nice food & nice service! I will definitely go back again and recommend it to my friends.

An interesting experience if you will; especially for spicy food eaters. Most food were served in skewers with hot spices. It seems they were shortage of staffs. Services were okay.

We ordered quite a bit of food, considering the time (it’s almost to closing) because we figured it would be worth for the time driving there. Food is spicy but not too spicy. And maybe because of it, it added a unique flavour to the dishes. I liked the food. And contrary to other customers said about staff, I found the waitress too eager to “help”. She was too chatty, to the point it’s a little annoying for me to enjoy the food with my boyfriend. Will be back to try more dishes.

An amazing experience of food in Chengdu/Sichuan at a very reasonable price point. My friend and I wanted to try some Chinese skewers (got the beef lover combo for $24), as well as some other dishes like the Dan Dan Noodles (only $10!!) and the Chongqing Chicken ($10). The flavors were out of this world and had a lot of cumin + Sichuan peppercorn. The service was incredible and the staff were very kind. Will definitely be back if I'm in the area.

Living just a 10-minute walk from this place, I can't believe I waited so long to try it. The skewers had a pleasant portion size, perfect for sharing (not for me, but for the most), and were marinated well. We sampled the cucumber salad, cumin potatoes, chicken skewers in a spicy chicken soup base (medium level), and pork dumplings. I love a good spicy kick, but the soup tasted a bit watered down imo. The medium spice level was however, enjoyable, especially when paired with the side dishes. Switching between the spicy soup and the refreshing cucumber salad was a fun experience, as the salad helped reset my taste buds for another round of spice. The dumpling sauce was a highlight for me, bringing back all the flavor that the skewers might have lost. The real star of the meal, though, was the cumin potatoes. They had an incredible texture, almost as if battered with something more than just flour. The chewy-crispy outer layer and the slightly soft interior covered in sauce were mind-blowing. I might just come back for the potatoes alone! Regarding the soup base, the manager explained that they adjusted the spice level to cater to a broader audience but are willing to make it stronger upon request. Looks like I’ll be returning to try their original, spicier recipe next time! 😄

I had a wonderful meal and would definitely recommend anyone that enjoys hotpot or spicy food to pay this location a visit! The food was delicious, the service was kind and attentive, and restaurant was clean and pleasant to eat in. We got the beef skewer set in slightly spicy chicken broth and added a variety of vegetables as well as tofu, chicken, and other skewers. The hotpot was delicious and stayed hot because of the tasty broth. The beef skewers were my favorite item as they came to me juicy, tender and perfectly cooked. Do not sleep on the appetizers and other dishes here because their other dishes are just as good! The smashed cucumber salad was a refreshing compliment to a spicy meal and is a must-order. The dandan noodles were comforting and had plenty of kick. The crispy chicken breasts had a nice light batter that had a pleasant crunch and did not overwhelm the chicken. If you are sensitive to spice, be sure to order the less spicy options as this place does not hold back! Also, get a refreshing drink like the peach slush to cool you off between bites.

I’ve been to this place four times now and I’ve enjoyed every experience. Serving fiery dishes is a given for a Chengdu/Sichuan restaurant, but what really sets this place apart from most other similar establishments are the strong and exciting flavors present in each dish. Seriously. I have not ordered anything here that I did not like. I’ve even taken some people here that can’t normally take the heat and they ended up powering through the night because of how tasty everything is. The skewers can start adding up, but it’s worth every penny. One other notable thing is that the service here is outstanding, even for non-Mandarin speakers. Can’t say that about many other places in this area. Do yourself a favor and put Miss Fu in your regular rotation if you haven’t already!
