High tea is yummy and cheap, especially no tax now , if u want to change the drink to red bean icecream, only add $2.5 Service is fast and friendly. I think they already opened for over 30 years , must have their advantage Must try. Tuesday closed

The only HK-style cafe I know where their excellent chili oil condiment is the star of the show and their dishes accompany it. Odd that you have to ask for said chili oil before they give it to you but show them that you like it and they'll give you more. Their dishes are good too like the shrimp with bacon fried rice, minced beef with raw egg rice, and Pork Cutlet noodle. Their Cutlet is also very soft. Surroundings are homey and old school, makes it very authentic of an experience.

Good HK style cafe with good deals on Combo set meals. Their Satay Beef Vermicelli is very flavorful and not watered down. The egg sandwich is normal but not fluffy. HK Milk Tea was delicious!

Came for lunch and had the preserved pork & chicken with ginger & onion steam rice. Taste okay but I am more preferred a traditional Chinese steamed rice (like with sweet soy sauce ) instead of cooked ingredients with sauce and lay on top of rice right before serving. I may come back to try some other dishes in future then.

Came here for a full set of breakfasts after picking up someone from the airport. We ordered Satay beef with instant noodles and came with ham or sausage and sunny side eggs and bread. Tasted with overpowered salty on satay sauce, other than that we enjoy our day.

Friendly place for a quick meal..also serve afternoon tea....just went there few days ago n today with friend because is close to his next appointment ....still good service....but my curry beef rice was not ideal on that day when I order, I only eat less than 30 percent of the whole dish.....today my friend suggest to go there because also near his next appointment....I order pan fry beef with noodle n country style pan fry rice noodle......honestly speaking is very very average..

Ming's is a decent option for those looking for a quick and affordable bite. While the food is not outstanding, it gets the job done and satisfies your cravings. I recently tried their satay beef with instant noodles dish with spam, eggs and toast for breakfast and found it to be a decent choice. The satay sauce was flavorful, with a nice balance of sweet and savory notes, though I did feel that it could have been slightly spicier. The beef was tender and had a good texture, although it could have used a bit more seasoning. The instant noodles provided a good base, but again, were nothing exceptional. The milk tea was fairly decent as well. Overall, I would say that the breakfast combo is a solid choice if you're looking for a quick and satisfying meal. However, if you're searching for more elevated and memorable dining experiences, this might not be the place for you. In terms of service, the staff was friendly and accommodating, making for a pleasant dining experience. The prices are also reasonable, making this a great budget-friendly option for those in the area. A decent spot for a simple meal, but don't expect anything extraordinary."

Looking for HK style cafe close in Scarborough. Ming Noodle Cafe has been around for many years and I drove by it many times and never had a chance to try it until today. We order 2 x Hainanese chicken with rice comes chinese pork bone soup and choice of coffee or HK hot milk tea. The milk tea here is fantastic and they serve it in the trademark HK style cup. Perfect amount of carnation milk with steeped black tea The chicken was seasoned well served cold but it was tender. You can dip it in hot sauce or green onion ginger sauce (my favourite). We also ordered black pepper steak on rice. Also comes with soup and choice of coffee or HK hot milk tea. The steak was covered thick layer of black pepper sauce. They used the grilling steak flanks, which were marinated and tender. We also ordered preserved egg with minced pork congee which came with choice of fried dough fritters or coffee/milk tea. Overall the experience was positive and the food came out relatively fast. The restaurant was busy for 12pm lunch rush. Only critique was the table we were seated was next to the washroom and the main entrance so it was cold. If you want some HK style food that won't break the bank then give this place a try.
