The most delicious sushi I’ve ever had! Miku is one of my favourite places for sushi in Toronto. Their aburi salmon sushi is the best sushi I’ve ever had, it melts in your mouth, and with a strong combination of flavours. The restaurant itself is stunning and beautiful, the atmosphere was vibrant, making the overall environment great. The servers are always welcoming and friendly, making the experience even better. This is a must try place, would recommend, 10/10!

Absolutely recommend the miso soup, Brussels sprouts spicy edamame and to satiate your appetite in full — the sablefish which was created in association with the Michelin star chef. The fish was tender and cooked. For all peeps not wanting raw but tender meat - this is for you. The miso soup was so fresh and a true appetite opener like you can tell from the way the soup sediments if you’re not actively engaging with the bowl that it’s fresh. Place has a great vibe and the staff constantly tend to a person’s water glass like we do it in Asia. That’s how you know the place is worth your bucks! Good place to go to with your team or friends and colleagues. Hope you love it too. ~GoExplore

Wow just phenomenal! The food was really good, fresh and unique! Ordered the 7 course combo plus two rolls. Everything was spectacular! The ambience, food, service all 10/10 can’t wait to go back, thank you to all the staff for hosting my wife and I to a special evening

This is one of my favourite sushi restaurants in the city. However, the service was slow during this visit as they seemed under staffed. The food is as usual on point and delicious.

Enjoyed the dinner in a casual business manner. The dishes are authentic (tried almost all the dishes with Michelin Chef collaboration) and very creative and special. The service is amazing and it could be a place for business for family for some celebrations:) Ume Sour Squid is a little bit too sour but very special though😁

Bomb sushi! This place had melt in your mouth good dishes. They had a few things that I've not tried in the US. It was a nice fresh take on sushi. They do lunch and dinner menus that vary. I had lunch both times and was not disappointed. Definitely give this place a shot if you're in the area.

Have always wanted to try Miku but have received varying feedback. Finally tried it during Summerlicious this year. What lived up to the hype was their aburi sushi. If you want the good stuff, eat this at Miku and the sister restaurants. It is priced high because it tastes good. Nothing else compares. Sashimi was also extremely fresh, comparable in quality to the sashimi in Vancouver. Where the points came off are below... Their cooked dishes were a sore miss on this visit. Salmon was extremely overcooked in the appetizer. The salmon poke chirashi had 4 to 5 different salmon options in one but I would almost describe the textures as elevated cat foods. Sorry for the harsh imagery but keeping it simple and cooked properly would have been a better choice. This restaurant also has tasting menu options that run in the $185 range so I was a bit surprised to see that many of the tables had visible chip marks on the side. Opera cake was a very small portion. Tasted like a very good matcha KitKat. Worth a try but not my personal favorite. Hopefully the restaurant will spruce up the deco, happy to visit again for their signature items on a special occasion. At $55 for summerlicious, it is good value and I'm happy to put up with some imperfections.

Amazing and romantic restaurant!! Best Japanese restaurant I have been to. I have always seen this restaurant when I go to Harbour Front and always wanted to try it. I'm so glad I did! We didn't have a reservation but we managed to get in on a Saturday night after a ten minute wait. We parked at the bank underground parking which is the same building this place is in. The food is very delicious. It's fancy and unique. The oysters were delicious. Presentation of food is a 10/10. The waiters are incredibly educated about their menu and ingredients. The atmosphere is definitely a romantic and elegant aura. Perfect for couples, which you will find a good amount of there for dinner. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves Japanese food.
