Yesterday, visited Midyeci Rıza’s place for the first time, and it was truly an amazing experience!!! The mussels were absolutely delicious; they made me feel as if I were in Türkiye. They were impeccably clean and perfectly stuffed with flavorful, spiced rice. The service was outstanding as well. Semir, one of the staff members who assisted us, was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. Thank you for such excellent service and delicious food. 👍🏻I will definitely be coming back! :)

Kokorec💯 service 💯 The mussels were hot and fresh, and the staff was very polite. It’s wonderful to find the Turkish flavors I miss the most here.

Midyeci Rıza - Istanbul-Style Kokoreç Experience I recently tried the Istanbul-style kokoreç at Midyeci Rıza and overall, I was quite pleased. The portion came with a standard-sized loaf of bread, but I felt the filling could have been a bit more generous. If they adjust the spice and oregano balance a little more, it could really reach an amazing level of flavor. On the plus side, the complimentary lentil soup served to each customer was absolutely delicious, rich and satisfying. The restaurant is clean, and the staff is friendly and polite, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The prices are very reasonable, so you get good value for what you pay. If you’re in the area, definitely give it a try for the kokoreç and the soup!

I believe that they only serve Turks, have ridiculously high prices, and don’t try to satisfy their customers. They’re just focused on selling as many products as possible. I felt pressured to buy more, even though I didn’t want to. There are many other Turkish restaurants in Toronto, and I would recommend giving them a chance instead of this one. I hope this comment reaches people considering this restaurant, so they’re informed about the outrageous prices and disappointing service experience.

I was absolutely blown away! I ate 40 mussels, and each bite took me back to Istanbul. The taste was just as incredible as I remember from my time there. The mussels were perfectly seasoned and so fresh. Their handmade ayran was also a delight – perfectly balanced and incredibly tasty. This place truly captures the authentic flavors of Istanbul street food! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a genuine Turkish food experience!

I had chicken rice and kokoreç at Midyeci Rıza, and it was amazing to find these flavors in Canada. The fact that it’s open late is a huge plus. Well done!

I really see the effort you guys putting into the job. I appreciated but there is one thing I wanted to mention, the portion of food you guys serving is less for what I paid for. I enjoyed the food deliciosss and the lady was very kind and smiley 10/10. Please work on the portion little bit more comparing to other restaurants. All the best!
