Midori Ramen

Fantastic truffle ramen, really nice people working there they recommended that we get a reservation but it was kind of unnecessary on a Saturday night even. The menu is pretty simple the appetizers are kind of lacking and there's really no dessert options but the ramen bowls are to die for. Probably some of the best ramen in the entire city. It's also appreciated that this is not a played out franchise.

I had the limited time gyudon ramen. Boy was it an experience. From the taste of the broth to the different flavours that u can enjoy by trying the different elements of the dish separate or combined. Even the side rice gives an extra layer of goodness. Trying the beef by itself was an experience. Paired with the flavored oil present it's such a bomb. Eating it with the rice a great pairing that compliment it. The beef with just the chili powder gave it a nice little kick. The beef by itself with the rich broth is comforting for the cold weather and such a compliment. Literally an amalgamation of complexity and deliciousness that comes together when u mix it. U can enjoy it however u want and u won't be disappointed. Just don't be like me and save some of the rice to mix it with the broth after u finish ur dish, but if u also want to have a bit of a gyudon experience will not blame u for trying it as I did lol. Also the egg, was such a treat, have never had such a texture experience with an egg that felt as soft like butter, almost like a spread. This is one of the best bowls of ramen I have had so far. Will definitely come back again and recommend it to my friends and family.

Midori Ramen was an absolute delight! From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the cozy ambiance and the attention to detail in the decor, which felt like a small, immersive piece of nature. But the real star was the ramen! I ordered the truffle ramen and the creamy broth was perfectly seasoned, with a rich depth of flavor that was both comforting and delicious. The eggs were cooked to perfection with that delightful, soft center, and the chashu pork was tender and just the right amount of savory. Each ingredient felt thoughtfully prepared, making every bite a pleasure. This place is a must-visit for any ramen lover or anyone looking to experience authentic flavors in a warm setting. I visited with my boyfriend, and we both opted for the spicy ramen along with some appetizers as part of a great deal. The food was excellent, and the two Asian staff members were incredibly kind and attentive, despite the bustling atmosphere. They made sure everything was just right for us. The only downside was the seating arrangement; the tables are quite close together, so it feels a bit cramped while dining. I understand they’re making the most of their limited space, so it’s manageable! The chicken and pork flavour is so amazing, it is filled with flavour, if you do not eat pork, you can ask to remove it.

First ever ramen experience - got the signature with thin noodles and it was delicious! Both pork and chicken were flavourful, the broth was creamy with the right flavour and substance and good filling portion. My friends got the Truffle and the Spicy Tan Tan and were both very satisfied with their choices. The space is beautiful and calming, washrooms are spacious and clean. The service was quick and the waitresses were kind. Great experience I will be back.

I really like their wide variety of options of appetisers to pick from and they all taste wonderful. Moreover, the appetisers are all reasonably priced, unlike a lot of other restaurants. The ramen was also delicious. The thick broth went so well with the toppings and the noodles that had a great elasticity to them. The meat slices were all soft and tasty while the eggs were a nice soft boil and lacked a bit in the marinated flavour but it was still good. The service was so fast. All our ramen was served within 10 minutes after we ordered, which is pretty quick. It was so quick that our ramen was served before our appetisers were, which was a bit weird though. The waitress was friendly and polite. It was overall a pretty pleasant meal. The thing that bothered me the most was probably the cleanliness of the place. The tables and chairs still had green onions from previous customers and the floor had sauces at a lot of places.
