Michael's Back Door Restaurant

Tried for the first time this lovely staple of the Clarkson community. Chef Mark outdid himself as two of the 3 of us decided to try one of the daily features as they sounded just as appealing as the main menu. We did that knowingly we’d we back to try more. Everything was paced, and delicious with service spot on and not intrusive. Thank you .

Always wanted to try this restaurant, finally had the excuse being our anniversary. Great atmosphere and ambience, service was spot on from beginning to end, and food was delicious. Great pick to celebrate!

This is a nice restaurant to go for event spaces, they are really good at providing service for these types of things. We came here for our daughter's baptism for dinner. The staff did an excellent job in working with us right up to the event plus working very hard to ensure everyone was well taken care of. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to have events here. Also side note my wife and I have been here for dinner and they do that pretty well too :)

My friend just posted about this here, but was not able to add the pictures of the bandaid in the lobster pasta. We’ve ordered this pasta before and it has been our favourite. I’m not going to repeat what my friend wrote but given that I found and almost ate this bandaid and then read another review about someone who ate rotten lamb, I personally wouldn’t go near this place. The owner (I’m assuming) also truly did not seem bothered by it when he delivered the replacement, which we could barely eat after the thought of finding a used bandaid in the first order.

We visited as a family after a Sunday celebration as a group of about 15 people. The service was exceptional, the wine selection was generous, and the Italian food options were abundant and delicious. A very nice restaurant in Clarkson. Will be back!

This might be the only Italian restaurant I would go back to. Most Italian restaurants I dined at have been bland and basic, but this place is an exception. The man who served us was able to answer our questions about the menu. He paid attention to detail and checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Amazing service. There were little things about the restaurant that made a good impression on us like the cute lamp on the table, and the top of of bread and butter. Don't skip out on the dessert menu, it is to die for!

I recently(I mean not recently) had the pleasure of dining at a restaurant in December 2022, and I cannot believe I forgot to share my wonderful experience until now! I attended a dinner party hosted by my boss, and I must say that the entire evening was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the service team made us feel welcome and attended to our needs throughout the evening. As a Halal eater, I was pleased to see that there was a delicious vegetable salad option available for me, while my friends enjoyed another appetizer that they raved about. For my main course, I chose the Blackened Atlantic Salmon with a Maple Glaze and Apple Slaw, and I was blown away by the magical flavors. It was cooked to perfection, and the combination of sweet and savory flavors was simply divine. Now, let's talk about the B-52 Cheesecake. As a cheese lover, I was thrilled to try this dessert, and I must say that it exceeded my expectations. The creamy cheesecake was a perfect way to end the meal, and I couldn't get enough of it. To top it all off, I enjoyed a delicious cappuccino to complete the meal. Overall, I must say that the service team and the owner truly made this evening memorable. The restaurant was very well maintained, and the atmosphere was perfect for a dinner party. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience, and I cannot wait to return! Thank you for a wonderful evening!
