Mi-Ne Sushi

Came here because the 2 HK cafes in the same plaza were super busy. Food tastes good here, and portion sizes are large. The prices are on the higher side, but not unreasonable. I tried the Bento boxes as they seemed to be a better deal.

We had big Sashimi donbiri, Kalbi which is short rib app and oysters and lobster udon. Overall, This place is the best! Donburi and Kalbi those are so good as a usual. My little baby girl liked them. The chef made little tiny sushi for my baby. She loved it! The Udon gave us warm feeling in the snowy day. Additionally, the oyster and lobster those are so yummmmm!!! If you like seafood and hot noodle soup, that could be what are you looking for. Tha ice cream has strong green tea flavour what we had at the last. Therefore, We really enjoyed the food! We highly recommend to visit here :) . Thanks!

We made a reservation and was seated right away. Food was fresh and delicious, however service was lacking. We had to ask multiple times for water and utensils. The bill took forever to come.

Visited about 5 :30 pm during weekends, without call booking for the seat, so not too bad as still not busy dinner time. Warm green tea, hope they provided hot tea in the future. Food as usual, tasted ok, no complaints. Service is ok, not outstanding.

Decent sushi for the price! Bento box combos are good value, tons of food! The bulgogi box was especially good. Don’t expect high end sushi quality but really good for what they are!

Read a mixture of reviews but since they’ve had so many reviews and maintained a 4.3, I thought we should give it a try. Big mistake, I should have just read the previous review as I had an absolutely identical experience. Service is dismal. Got ignored by the service staff. Tea served was like warm, then we had to ask for them to top it up and it was also like warmed. Finally asked for hot tea and got some. Had to wave down the staff and when they finally responded it seemed like it was a favour to us. When the food showed up I was really impressed. Unfortunately, the food, while it looked good, wasn’t very good. The sashimi was mediocre. The rolls were filled with tons of cucumber and had a lack of fish. I don’t know why this went awry but it wasn’t a pleasant meal. I would not recommend going to them and would not return.

I recently visited Mi-Ne Sushi in Markham and tried their Spicy Chicken Bento lunch special. This is one of the best I have had! The flavors were spot on, and the portion size was perfect. The chicken was cooked to perfection, and the sides complemented the main dish wonderfully. Highly recommend!

Booked a reservation and got seated immediately. However, service was very slow considering it’s a Saturday night and restaurants usually expect it to be busy. It took us a while for someone to take our order, and we didn’t even have soy sauce at our table. We had to ask for it and the server was shocked we didn’t have it. They seemed a bit disoriented, maybe they were expecting so many large takeout orders. The food was good and they had good selection, but it was overtaken by the slow service. You also get a discount if you pay cash!
