Incredible food and service!! All of the tapas/appetizers were SO delicious and amazing... the flavors and everything!! Wine and drinks were also delicious!! Thank you so much and highly recommended!! The entrance is accessible but the washrooms are in the basement. Beautiful decir and nice outdoor heated and covered patio !!

I have heard good things so I was looking forward to trying it out. I had to do take out, which of course is not the same experience or atmosphere as dining in. That being said, I was very disappointed with the portion size given the price. The container was not even filled up. The salad was good but only one olive in the whole salad. Overall, not super impressed by the food or attention to detail for take out at least.

Some really good things, and some small points for improvement at Mezes. I'll start with the good - the service was good, and the food was delicious. We arrived right at open (11:00AM) which meant that there was no wait. Based on others' reviews, it does sound like it gets busier later in the day and there may be a wait. We had a larger group, so I got to try a couple items off the menu. The Small Kria Poikilia ($14) was great - we did add an extra pita ($3) as recommended by the server. My favourite dip of the four (Tzatziki, Taramosalata, Homous, and Melitzanosalata) was the Taramosalata, which was amazingly flavourful and paired great with the pita. For my main, I got the chicken souvlaki dinner ($25). The chicken souvlaki was delicious and the texture was amazing. I did wish the portion was a bit bigger - for $25, it was a single skewer. The rice portion was really big but not really necessary. My boyfriend got the lamb souvlaki dinner ($28) which was also really good. That is saying a lot, coming from me, as I normally cannot stand the taste of lamb. The one primary issue I had with our lunch was the inconsistent temperature. It was extremely hot in the room at parts of the meal, which did come down to reasonable levels at certain times. It may have been because it was very chilly outside and it became more moderate in the afternoon.

Was really looking forward to eating at this place heard some good things. the place is packed. It’s best to make reservations after a short wait we got seated and our waiter was quick to introduce himself. The service was great. The food was underwhelming. Tasted similar to what you would find in a fast food setting. Don’t get me wrong. It was good, but it wasn’t memorable. The atmosphere is alive and happening.

The saganaki wasn’t very sweet like usual saganaki that I’ve had and the waiter didnt light it on fire in front of us so I didnt get to record it unfortunately. But the dining area was pretty. Chicken souvlaki could’ve been cooked a bit better but perhaps it was just because it was a Monday night? The steak skewers, fried Calamari/Kalamari, greek fries and tzatziki were pretty good. Salad seemed to be drenched in slightly too much olive oil however but still not bad. Overall 6/10. It’s a nice place to go to if you wanna slightly dress up though, and the renovations look really good! Also- found $7 paid parking about a 2 minute walk away at the Chester subway station

Sat on the patio after a 45min wait with no reservation for our group. The atmosphere and service is immaculate here. Food was also great, portions are good and not overly filling. I loved the tiger shrimp and will definitely come back for more because the flavour is so well done. Calamari was amazing as well, did not get a photo before we dove in. Meat was cooked well - I got the lamb here and it was cooked to medium so texture was easy to chew. I can understand the wait time given that I’ve got nothing negative to say this spot.

Mezes is an absolute gem! The food is amazing, and the service was outstanding. I highly recommend their calamari, lamb pieces and chicken dinner – it's delicious and perfectly cooked. We will definitely be back for more!

The food and vibes here are fantastic! This is honestly the best Greek restaurant on the Danforth! If you want real, authentic, tasty Greek food, visit Mezes! The lamb, dips and calamari are a must!! Drinks are great too and the owner is an absolute gentlemen!
