5-stars because of the fully plant-based menu, and fast, friendly service. It was quite cold inside the restaurant by the windows, so I feel I would have enjoyed my experience more on a mild evening.

Mexhico is an all vegan restaurant where every item on the menu is made from scratch. The nachos were fully loaded and the blue corn tortillas from the sopecitos dish was the perfect texture. Every dish had amazing flavours that complimented the dishes textures. We ordered a side of various spiced salsas to add an extra kick to our meal. Our server was amazing and the service was impeccable. I highly recommend checking out Mexhico vegan or not.

Really enjoyed the fish tacos and our other dishes. Churros were 🔥. I would definitely return. The staff was kind and the environment felt authentic. Excellent experience overall

The BEST place to eat in all of Barrie. Actually, it’s worth the drive from wherever you are. The owner is the nicest man the atmosphere is vibrant yet relaxed and the food is flavourful, unique, and beautifully presented on plates that are works of art. DO NOT MISS OUT.

Came here on a recommendation of a friend. Very wonderful experience. The atmosphere was bright and airy and fun. It instantly made you feel transported down south. All of the staff were extremely friendly and ensured that the experience was exceptional. The menu was small but offered a lot of variety in dishes. The same is to be said for the drink menu. Also a big shout out for all of the gluten free options. It's rare to have so many choices on a menu so I commend the dedication to serving all dietary restrictions. I had a Pina colada and it was great, lots of flavour but not overly sweet, my partner had the spicy sunset Margherita. For food , I had the tacos al pastor and my partner had the barbacoa tacos. Both dishes were great and had that authentic taste of street tacos in Mexico. We also had some of the hot sauces. We were blown away by not only spice level but the flavour. They weren't just scorching hot but actually had layers of flavour. We finished with the cayenne brownie. You would be doing yourself a disservice by not trying it. Thanks for a wonderful meal. We will be back again

Plant based Mexican food that tastes amazing. Authentic Mexican menu and tastes. So happy with our meal. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Can't say enough great things. This is a must try for all.

We had a great experience eating here on our way back home to Toronto. The tacos we had were delicious, and we also got the enchiladas. Their cocktails are very reasonably priced and the passionfruit margarita was amazing. Service was super friendly. They also have many non alcoholic drinks as they collaborated with Sober Sips which is right next door.

One of the best plant-based restaurants we’ve ever been to! This is a must visit if you are in Barrie even if you are not a vegan! I wanted to leave a review asa I visited but life got in the way and it’s been several months and I forgot the name of the dish I ordered. They also have everyday special desserts I think. Yummy cheese cake! Cute little places mark your memory with their funny personality 😅 (see the board pic)
