My wife and I loved the place vibe. The taste of their pizza reminded us of our trips to Italy. Great and relaxing little place to enjoy Italian cuisine, we'll be back.

Visited today around 12 pm. Everything was fresh, looked fabulous, and there was a great variety to choose from. The slice costs $8, but it’s a good size, enough to fill you up. They’ll even cut it into two smaller pieces if you ask, making it easier to eat. They do serve coffee, though only espresso, which was fine for me. I also saw a note saying they serve lasagna on Sundays, and they offer cooking classes too. They have salads, desserts, and even vacuum-sealed pizza slices for convenience. There are a few tables inside—around three—plus a small bar area with seating for about three people near the window. The place is super clean and has a nice, relaxed vibe, perfect for chatting. The girl who served us was friendly and offered some helpful recommendations. Overall, a really nice experience, and the food was delicious. I’ll definitely be going back, which for me is a big sign of a good place and great service! Highly recommend!

Mercado Sociale hosted our wedding reception and it was perfect! Heather was an amazing host and Enzo made us all delicious and fresh food, I can’t recommend/ thank them enough!

Everything that Enzo makes is amazing. Definitely the best pizza I’ve had in Canada but the sandwiches and pasta are equally delicious. Taken 2 classes with him as well and his care for his craft is remarkable. Everything he does is exact and to the highest standards. We’re lucky to have this place in Oakville. Be sure to stop in today. You’ll be so glad you did.

After a long swimming into the Ontario lake and being for the first time in Oakville, we’ve decided to have a delicious lunch. The chicken sandwich, the Margherita, pepperoni and mushroom pizza were so yummy. We will definitely be back to meet again the nice owners and taste the delicious food!

We were visiting from Montreal, where we are spoiled with many great pizza restaurants, and Mercato Sociale is in a class all its own! The pizza dough has an amazing texture and taste and the toppings are outstanding. The sausage rapini and potato pancetta pizzas were our favourites although the Margherita and Pepperoni pizzas were equally delicious! Enzo was an absolute delight to deal with and had our pizzas freshly out of the oven and ready to go at our agreed pick up time. The chicken cutlets and apricot and raspberry crostatas were a real treat as well. I strongly recommend Mercato Sociale and its excellent authentic Italian food. We look forward to trying more when we are next in own. Mille grazie Enzo!

Want to have lunch in Italy from Canada? This is how you do it (without the flight!). With our Italian loving 3 year old as our tour guide, we wandered in and we left with pizza and a prosciutto burrata sandwich. The ingredients were such high quality, but Enzo’s bread and pizza dough were really fantastic. No one wanted to share 😂 This spot feels like the type of place where you want to be a regular. Can’t wait to go back.
