It’s the best Thai food you will find in Canada. Authentic to the T and Danny (our server) helped us in ordering the choicest items from the menu and was very patient and cordial. We met the owner (Allen) as well and he made us feel so homely and got us a complimentary dessert too! Love this place, worth every penny! It’s my husband’s and mine favourite place of all times 🙌🏻

Best Thai food I've had in Toronto. Service was great too. I was lucky enough to meet the owner who was one of the nicest guys ever and gave us a brief background of the place. Very interesting story if you ever feel like looking into it. We had the lamb curry with peaches and the grilled beef tenderloin with pomegranate tamarind sauce. I haven't seen these items on any other Thai menu so we decided to try it out and it was worth it, enough that I'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

Location is hidden between buildings and might be hard to spot but once you’re there atmosphere is great and there is parking Service: excellent, super friendly and very generous. Food: I found my drunken noodle a bit salty but otherwise it was great! All the food we had was excellent. Definitely will come back.

This is the BEST Thai restaurant in the world. I have been going here for decades now and I always bring my friends and family to this restaurant. The food is simply amazing and authentic. The service here is top notch. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. Try to Crispy Beef and Whole Red Snapper Filet in Panang Curry Sauce (check out the photos)!

Update a few weeks later: I heard back from the city and was informed they inspected the restaurant and found no evidence of bugs in the food or storage areas. I was looking for some thai food and decided to try this place as the reviews looked good. I was greeted by a very friendly server. I ordered the pineapple rice bowl and received a complimentary appetizer while I waited. The pineapple dish came out rather quickly, which was the first red flag. After a few bites, I noticed a weird bug in my food. Upon closer inspection I realized that it was a baby cockroach. I informed the server and they offered me a dessert for the trouble. They also let me know that they had an exterminator in already.

Catered for a corporate yacht party for ~45 people. Allan was extremely helpful and responsive. His team was so swift in setting everything up, and everything to serve was provided. They even brought labels for the dishes. The guests really enjoyed the food, especially the red curry chicken with lychee and pineapple. I would definitely recommend going with Mengrai Thai for catering.

Very comforting food.. Green curry is flavour full.. Alan and Sasi are amazing hosts ❤️❤️ Alan promised the best experience and we got exactly that.. We tried drunken noodles and concluded with honeyed Banana Flitters with Mango ice cream. P.S. Complimentary Morning Glory simply melted in mouth.. Authentic Thai Food Experience

I came here for Summerlicious with a few of my cousins and we enjoyed it very much. The food was delicious and the servers were very attentive to ask us if we had any food allergies or considerations while taking our orders. In the photos, you'll see: Non-veg platter (apps) Red curry chicken w/ pineapple & lychee (main) Vegetarian delight w/ mushroom (main) Veggie Pad Thai noodles (main) Mango sticky rice (dessert) Vegan mango cheesecake (dessert) Overall, a great experience with delicious food. 🍚❤️ I would recommend visiting this place for a Thai-tasting experience!
