I recently dined at here, and it was an amazing experience! The sweet corn soup was a delightful start—thick and flavorful. The chili chicken stole the show; it was perfectly crispy and the chicken was tender not overcooked like other places. The hakka noodles were another highlight; they had that perfect wok hay flavor that made them incredibly aromatic and satisfying. To top it all off, the steamed momos were delicious, with a soft texture and juicy filling that complemented the other dishes beautifully. Can't wait to return for another round!

Impeccable service, big size portions and a cozy environment! Pooja was smiling and filling orders and got it in a pretty good time. Portion size: BIG, difficult for a person to finish by themselves!

The food was really good... The server was really nice and he recommended us very good dishes.... Also the chicken momos were very delicious, hakka noodles, veg manchurian as well... The spice levels were very well managed tasted authentic flavours from Asia....

I have been wanting to visit for a while, glad we decided to stop by today with a visitor for his first Hakka food experience. The owner (I believe) was very friendly and informative. He made some great recommendations, explained some questions we had about the meals and then suggested some dishes that would go well together. We had the chicken momos which were delicious, the sauce that comes with them are perfect, one has lots of flavour and the other one was very spicy, well balanced. This plate took a while to come out but the owner came over to let us know in advance, which I appreciate. Schezuan Noodles, we chose medium and the owner explained the spice level, which was very helpful, these are a bit spicy, but I love spicy food and often add hot sauce to all my meals so even the medium one might be too spicy for someone with low spice tolerance. Noodles were great and not overly oily like at other places. We asked about the difference between Chili Beef and Ginger Beef, the owner explained nicely but then also suggested the Mongolian Beef Sizzler might be better to compliment the Schezuan noodles so we went with that. The meat was super tender and tasty, though a bit salty for my taste, overall it paired well with the noodles. We also tried their house lager, was actually really good. The only cons: We sat on one of the booths at the back, the sitting bench was so uncomfortable, the seat felt like hollow and as if you're sitting against the wood section, was hard getting up. Room temperature water, water was not offered but once we asked for it they came over to refill, which was nice. Cold water or ice in the glass would've been better, specially with the spicy dishes and the place not being cold at all. All in all, we will definitely return but will choose to sit at a different location. It's definitely worth the try and even better if you speak with the owner for recommendations. All their portions were big, more than enough for the 3 of us, and we definitely overindulged.

Mela Restaurant offers decent food, but the portions are quite small for the price. Be cautious when checking out—double-check your bill as we've noticed extra charges for items we didn't order. Overall, it’s an experience that could be much better with more attention to value and accuracy.

The food was so delicious, and made fresh and seasoned very well. The customer service was so amazing. Our server was very kind, patient from booking our table to arriving at the restaurant. He knew everything on the menu and he gave great food suggestions for us to try. The food felt like home! This is definitely a great spot to try with your family! Make sure to try the fish Pecora, it’s a MUST TRY! (It’s soooo good I forgot to take a photo of it)
