Mehfill Indian Cuisine (Yonge St) - Best Indian Restaurant in Downtown Toronto

I ordered a paneer tikka masala on Uber Eats and was given a chicken dish. I am a pure vegetarian. On calling the restaurant they asked me to order another dish and they would then deliver the correct order instead of being sympathetic or apologetic in this case. No refunds or anything was provided and I was asked to get in contact with the uber eats team (which was another hassle) So before anyone places their orders give it a thought and before eating your delivered order kindly check.

I initially first tried the butter chicken at the location in Etobicoke and I was blown away. Decided to try the same restaurant again but different location. I was really looking forward to the butter chicken meal, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations, especially compared to the Etobicoke location. The portion size was noticeably smaller, and the food arrived cold, which was really disappointing. From the photo, I expected a decent side salad, but there was almost none on the plate. Overall, the quality and portion size didn’t justify the price, and I’ve had much better experiences at the other location. The naan wasn’t as tasty either.

Everything was perfect! Delicious food and good service! We had Chicken Biryani, Tandoori Paneer Tikka, Lamb Vindaloo, Chiken Korma. And they gave us free dessert!

I had such a great experience at Mehfill. Food and service were top notch. We had Crispy chilli gobhi, afghani murgh, paneer handi, chicken and veg biryani and garlic naan. And in dessert we had gulab jamun with icecream and brownie with icecream. Honestly I was amazed with the taste and quality of food. Classy ambiance and friendly environment.

Great food. Great ambience. Visited here at 10:30 pm and the service was really quick and great. Ordered for a kadhai paneer, garlic naan and a tandoori butter roti. Loved the taste of the food and quantity was decent for two people, especially garlic naan was perfectly done as per the instructions (extra garlic and crispy). We were served by Jazz, she was super quick and sweet. Must visit.

I enjoyed a wonderful dinner tonight. Lamb Bhuna, Veg. Biryani and Butter Naan. The lamb was the best I’ve had ever. The room is spacious, warm and stunning. The owner and his staff are very welcoming, friendly and happy. A highly recommended spot in the Y&Eg. area.
