It was a good experience. There was only one server on a Friday night. The drinks are average. Food was good. We had the rara paneer cause so many people recommended below. Chicken changez and the lacha paratha were amazing. The onion salad was bad like very stale

** DO NOT ORDER HERE** Unless you feel like getting ripped off and your money stolen. Ordered take out from here and am incredibly disappointed. Paid almost $20 for butter chicken and received a half full container with ONE overcooked chicken chunk. If this is how you treat your customers good luck staying open. This restaurant basically stole our money and gave us nothing.

came here today and had the Afghani seekh kebab, veg platter, naan, makhmali paneer, achari chaap. definitely recommend the Afghani seekh, veg platter and the makhmali paneer!! Must try! we also had the best time with muskan! she's an amazing server and was very informative. the ambiance of this place was also great! highly recommend this restaurant

Bad food taste. Tried 5 dishes excluding sides and all were unsatisfactory. We have been to many bad restaurants in Ontario over the span of 11 years; this was by far the worst! Sorry to say this but it is my personal opinion. Quality food is not your motive :( Chicken lollipop taste was ok but size / quantity was too little. See photos. Chilli chicken was more of batter and less of chicken. See photos for cross section of the pieces. Plates were low quality / cheap. Could find better quality cutlery in Dollarama. See photos. Chicken seekh kebab lacked flavour (like rest of the food). Quantity was decent. Green chutney on the side was less than 20ml. See photos - spoon for size refrence. And lastly, the CHEF SPECIAL chicken curry (they call it Lababdaar) tasted like tomato puree tossed in oil with chicken pieces cooked separately added to it. Wonder how the non CHEF SPECIAL currys taste (may be better who knows we will never find put for sure). Laccha pyaaz is lime pickle mixed with onion for $5 Servers were very kind and helpful. They offered replacement curry but we rejected for obvious reasons. Ambiance was good and their naan is very fresh and tasty. Must try methi garlic naan (without curry).

This was first visit to the Mehfil Whitby, we have been to other location ( New market). Ambiance is good and nice to have a sit down dinner with family and friends. They have a nice bar area. We ordered veg platter, rara paneer and a dhaba style chicken curry. Food was full of flavour and perfect spicy level. The best was the freshly cooked crispy butter & garlic naan. Service was also good and on time. The only suggestion would be to have better plates and cutleries for guests as well as for serving food.

Very tasty food. Came down from Port Perry. Had Lamb Vindaloo, butter naan, and rice. Friendly service. If you love Indian food, you should eat here!

Excellent service by Muskaan. Very courteous. Relatively fast delivery by the chef. The taste of the chicken biryani and chicken lababdar was just phenomenal. Well done. Will come again.

We have been to the neighborhood but noticed this restaurant recently. Wanted to try and the special of the day was dum Biryani, so ordered it. It was good but looked more like pulao than biryani. Fried chicken momo was good but we had better at other places. Masala soda was good. Ambiance was cool and gives you good vibe. We were there on a Monday when crowd was not there and we were the only customer. The server was nice and helpful. Overall a good place to dine in with friends and family.
