Meet Noodles

I walked in seeking a hot comforting soup, and went to the counter to order. The chicken noodle soup was good, it had decent tasting broth. The chicken was flavorful but had bits of bone in it. The takoyaki was good too. The service was questionable - I don't understand why was it that other fellow East Asian customers who walked in after me were warmly greeted and offered menus and pleasantries by the staff at their tables, and I was given the cold treatment for going up to the counter and asking a few questions as it was my first visit? Maybe it was assumed that I was not coming in for a dine in, or just for a pickup order, or because of the way I was dressed, or maybe the color of my skin? I really want to give them the benefit of the doubt, but the experience left me quite shocked TBH. I'll probably not come back again. Cheers!

Lamb skewers are a must. So good! Had the basic noodles and broth which was good but the noodles were over cooked. Would be nice if they had a bit more bite. Also not a fan of having the broth with a small plastic spoon. Flavour wise and service, everything was dope!

I ordered a seafood boil with extra corn because I love corn! I have had seafood boils at several places in the GTA. I’m not sure what they use for corn but what they gave me was not corn. It tasted like hard plastic I trashed the whole thing. Just a waste of money. If you get their food make sure you don’t get their corn.

I got the pork belly soup based on reviews. I must say, it is as good as everyone says! It came out quick, like really quick😆 I was in and out in about 20 minutes. $17.00 with a drink is a cheap meal as far as I am concerned and fully worth it. Sadly, this will be my only experience at Meet Noodles as I head back home to Vancouver Island tomorrow. Check it out. It's worth it!

Noodle soups and skewers were very flavorful! Service is extremely fast and food was hot. Will definitely come back when I visit Toronto :)

Noodle Saturday continues. On a quest to eat at all the Noodle shops across Mississauga. Yesterday's stop was Meet Noodles. Ordered the Noodles with Beef Sirloin. The Beef Sirloin is good. You get several large pieces of it, the meat is tender and flavourful. The noodles are good, and you get a large portion of them. The broth is good, but their was a oily film to it. The skewers are mid. Wouldn't recommend them since the meat on them is so thin. Overall fair experience. 7/10.

This was was SO GOOD, the broth was so flavourful and you actually got a really hefty portion. My partner finished all his noodles and was full and I took home half because I couldn't finish it lol. I had the pork belly noodles and he had the beef sirloin noodles - both SO good. The broth, the noodles, the meat - everything was done so well. The "mild" broth was still slightly spicy, so if you have a low spice tolerance just be careful. The restaurant itself is so unassuming and I'm surprised how empty the restaurant was because it was really that delicious and it didn't take long at all lol. The only thing I took off a star for was they serve you disposable utensils (including the spoon), which is a personal preference. It's a casual spot but would definitely come back any day!

It is a Friday and I was in the mood for some good noodle soup because the weather is a bit chilly today. I just picked up pizza from Pizza Nostra and this restaurant fit the bill because it is on my way home. I have been here before 2-3 years ago if memory serves me correctly. It is a local mom & pop business. So that already scores some points with me. I agree with my fellow reviewers, the food is very well packaged and the portions are quite generous. I chose the Noodle Soup with Beef Sirloin and a BBQ Squid on a skewer. Man, how I miss travelling to Asia and eating these delectable meat and seafood skewers at the night markets. Not to worry, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. And we can all travel soon ...... There are several components which makes up a really good noodle soup: 1) There is the broth 2) The noodles 3) Assorted Meats / Seafood The broth was warm and inviting, The taste, flavour and aroma were an instant hit. I rarely drink or finish the soup/broth, but I slurped it all up until it was gone. It was delicious. The noodles were cooked to perfection with enough bounce on each bite. Unlike overcooked soggy noodles.....YUCK. But not the case here. Man oh man, the beef was heavenly. It was juicy and not dry and packed with flavour. I was expecting the beef to be good but dry ...you know....it is dry when it just gets stuck between your teeth kinda dry and tough. I will say again, this was not the case here. The portion is generous. It may look small, but it will fill you up. The skewer was nice and flavourful. The marinade was bang on with a spicy hit. The squid was not chewy at all, but rather it still had a snap, crackle and pop upon every bite. It was most enjoyable. Update March 2024 The service is friendly and efficient. They get 10 stars 🌟. The beef 🥩 noodles was tasty with a hearty broth. The beef was tender and packed with flavour. The squid and chicken skewers were excellent and satisfying. A+ experience all the way here. Happy eats everyone 😎 I must return later on to check on the consistency. Please give them a try and let us all now what your thoughts are. This a bases clearing triple into the right field gap !!!
