The quality of meat here is quite good; you can see them slicing the meat in the kitchen area in front of you. The setup of the charcoal grill is good too. They have a fan that’s positioned right over the grill so all the smoke is immediately sucked up and you don’t get it all over your face. The place is small but there is not an overwhelming amount of smoke for this reason. Service was pretty bad though. Stood by the front door for a few minutes and the waiter walked by without making eye contact. Had to go to the cash to ask to be seated lol. Took them a few minutes to clean a table, so I waited outside. When I came back in I had to ask again to be seated. This was around 3pm on a Saturday, so not the busiest time either. Painful just to sit down.

This is such a cute place! First time I’ve been here but service is super nice and also the staff is very helpful on what to order. Meat is fresh and juicy. The charcoal grill is such a game changer that Daldongnae has nothing on this place. Our server Man was super attentive and even gave us the last of the seaweed. Love the free side dishes too! 🫶 10/10 will come back soon! 😍

Amazing barbecue spot - different from Shinta or Gyubee or any other spot that uses gas. This is straight charcoal, with the typical exhausts running through to collect any fumes. The meat quality is great - we ordered the platter for 3 despite just being 2 people, and it was definitely more than enough. The cold noodles however, were by far the best item. I will return just for that. Best I've ever had at least. The owner/manager was kind and hospitable - she came around and asked if we enjoyed everything and context behind each of the dishes. Highly recommend.

Here’s my honest review: While the food itself was excellent and we really enjoyed trying all the different sauces with the meats, there were a few things that caught us off guard. First, they charge an extra $4 for charcoal, which seems a bit much considering it’s essential for the meal. On top of that, they charge $4 for extra lettuce, and for a table of five, they only gave us one small container of lettuce to share. It felt a bit cheap, especially since lettuce is a basic side. We also found it a little odd that you can get free lettuce if you leave a 5-star review. It felt a bit like a gimmick. While the experience was overall enjoyable, we just wish they had been more transparent about the additional charges for lettuce and charcoal upfront. It would have made the overall experience smoother.

Absolutely 10/10!!! The meat quality is so good that the price is too cheap to be good! We ordered the 39.99 beef platter during lunch time and we are so satisfied with the quantity and quality. The fried rice is a must order, with the special sauce it just makes it even better with the liquidy egg yolk! They have special price for 1.5L beer for only 5.99 after 9:30 pm!!! Another thing to mention is their fried rice cake, so good and chewy, goes well with sugar. Overall a very satisfying meal and definitely will revisit!

This is the BBQ spot I must visit every week. After I visit this restaurant, I haven’t gone to any other BBQ place. The charcoal-grilled flavor is so rich that it tastes even better after reheating at home. I come by weekly, grab some to go, and mix with rice-it makes a great lunch for work lunch. The manager is friendly , always ask us the suggestions or recommend great restaurants in Toronto. If the manger not busy, she helps us grill and cut the meat. Looking forward to seeing more dishes added to the menu.

I highly recommend this charcoal grill restaurant! I was surprised by the freshness of the food. The quality of the meat is particularly good — juicy, tender, and well-marinated. We scanned the QR code to order, which is very convenient. The service is also fast. I will definitely go back for more BBQ😝🥩🥩
