If you’re ever at Sheppard Yonge Centre, you’ve got to try this awesome poutine place! I visit the mall pretty regularly and usually grab lunch at the food court, but I spotted this new spot today and decided to give it a go. So glad I did! The portion was super generous, the service was spot on, and the cheese curds were incredibly fresh. Overall, it was one of the tastiest poutines I’ve had. Highly recommend checking it out.

I'm was born and raised in Montreal... This is a good place for poutine... you get a lot for your money. The large is good for 2 people or two meals. I usually get the Large Philly cheese steak with exta cheese curds.

Usually poutines I get from other places are on the greasy side, but here it tasted really good and not greasy at all

Dropped by in the evening to try the chili cheese dog since the reviews were raving about it. Cashier said would be ready in 5 mins. 15 mins later i saw them heating it under a toaster and finally was given to me after they made about 7-8 poutines. From the first sight the dog looked unappetizing and very small. Was a miniscule amount of chili, shredded cheese that came out of a package sprinkled on top and wasn't even melted. The chili/chili dog was lukewarm and obviously not freshly made and not even heated up long enough. The hotdogs at Costco are considerably better as they are fresh and only $1.50 with a drink, i paid $13 something incl tip and was very disappointed. Their poutine looked better and seemed freshly made but I won't be coming back again. Disclaimer, i will only leave one star reviews if i get sick from the food which i didn't here fortunately.

I'm super delighted to say this was my first taste of poutine in Canada and I can't wait to come back for more! Delicious! This place was recommended in a Moving2Canada YouTube video and it did not disappoint.

For a large poutine, it is enough to feed two people. The gravy is very nice peppers had a weird aftertaste to them and her cheese Not really melted, but taste is really good I do hope that they get some sort of hot sauce or hot peppers I can put on if people want something a little spicier. Overall, a great place to snack

After waiting so so impatiently it is finally here and we couldn't be more impressed. The service was exceptional 👏 👏👏 The food....O...M...G, The best poutine I've ever had. I don't even know what to say in words to describe just how good. The fries were made fresh and were hot and crispy, yes crispy fries in poutine...like O..M..G. All the ingredients were sooo fresh. The gravy was 🤤, best poutine gravy anywhere. Aaaaaand if that wasn't enough....the Chili Cheese Dog....I'm dead , I'm just dead because I LOVE LOVE LOVE chili cheese dogs and you can't find good chili cheese dogs in Toronto. Best chili cheese dogs in the city. I almost cried happy tears while eating it. We WILL back , a LOT.....Yes, a LOT 😃. Thank you for coming to our neighborhood @Mean Poutine I love you 😍 😅

After a few weeks of seeing “opening soon” Mean Poutine opened at the y Sheppard Center. Fantastic! We ordered the cheeseburger poutine and the fried chicken poutine, and split a chili dog with double smoked bacon and onion. All were perfection. Freshly made. Nothing on the heat rack. BY FAR the highest quality poutine have had. It’s also very hard to find a good chili dog in Toronto. Now it’s steps away from home. Extremely friendly and accomodating folks behind the counter. Can’t say enough good stuff. Wishing Mean Poutine nothing but the best. Off to an amazing start!
