Mean Poutine Ajax

Always good food at this location been twice so far trying the Mexicana & Fried Chicken poutines they were great. Defientley a local spot to try out good food in the area.

I cant believe I have not reviewed this place yet because I literally have to come here at least once a week. This is hands down, without a doubt, without any contradictions, THE BEST POUTINE that I have ever had. Every. Single. Time. They make it in like 5 minutes so the service is super fast. But the taste is godly. Try it out for yourself, get the Mexicana poutine. I've literally traveled to Quebec just for poutine and couldn't find anything comparable to this. This place has the tastiest, juiciest, crispiest, most scrumptious poutine on earth. I literally live to eat here. Thank you for existing 5 minutes from my house LOL.

The first time I tried Mean Poutine I was pleasantly surprised. Each subsequent visit has gotten worse. The poutine barely has any gravy on it. The point of a poutine is the cheese curds AND gravy. They tell you to pay for extra gravy and extra doesn't even come on the poutine. Traditionally, a poutine is meant to be saucy not bone dry. To make matters worse, my fries have got to have been triple fried. They are too hard, dark and crunchy. The little gravy there was is just sitting on the hard shell of the fry. The poutine is so dry I had to add ketchup. Even my children are complaining saying the fries taste off. If fries are old, through them out. Don't re-fry them and serve the bad product to customers who are paying an already marked up price for potatoes. I've provided this feedback to the establishment already, but I guess the business is doing good from the students at nearby schools during lunchtime that they don't need to care. I'm tired of being played the fool by capitalists. Customers are educated/intelligent and can tell when something is fresh versus not.

We ordered the Southern BBQ and it was packed with food. The fries were still crispy even drenched in sauce. One of the best poutine places I've been to and I love poutine.

Landed here by chance while we were passing by. Fries tasted amazing and the portion sizes were decent. They use vegetarian gravy on their poutine and it tastes AMAZING! Pictured are buffalo friend chicken poutine and veg pierogie poutine. We dined in because poutines are always better when had piping hot 🔥 The Persian lady's service was amazing as she was whole-heartedly serving/there for help.

The classic poutine is good. Regular size fries is alright, I added vegetables extra to top up on the fries and it wasn’t too bad.

A great poutine place with an expanded menu and many awesome choices. The plaza has ample parking including ♿ spots. The door is also ♿ accessible. This location is mostly pickup but has some limited seating if you have to. Helpful and friendly staff. 5 stars for the effort 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻.

Excellent food and service! Got the regular sized Southern BBQ poutine and it was more than enough. The employees were helpful and kind, especially towards my toddler. Definitely going back!
