I ordered curbside, I had the Jollof rice, swallow with chicken Egusi. The lady I spoke with was very pleasant and helpful. I loved the flavors, everything was Great. Will definitely order from here again before I go back home. I would definitely recommend eating here. Idk how Nigerian and Ghanaian food is supposed to taste traditionally, but if these are the flavors I’m loving it.

“Overrated and Disappointing” The 4.9 rating is misleading. The jollof rice, white rice, and stew were extremely disappointing, and I couldn’t eat more than a few bites. Despite claims of freshly made food, the quality was far below expectations. If zero stars were an option, that’s what they’d deserve. Not recommended.

Stumbled across this beautiful restaurant while I was visiting Niagara falls and decided to try them out mainly because I've been craving African food for a while. I had the Jollof rice with plantain and coleslaw and this was the best tasting meal I've had in this country. I will frequent this spot whenever I find myself in Niagara and will definitely recommend to anyone looking for an authentic African food. Also the lady and the gentleman working there were really nice. Wonderful place.

Food was delicious, spices were new and different for me but just right. They were very generous portions and also gave many complimentary extras. Of note the hibiscus iced tea was incredible. It had clove and likely ginger and cinnamon and was a bit sweet. They started us with that on the house. They also have an in-house made tomato-based sauce that everyone at the table devoured. It came with the spring rolls and was also used on the small sampler. Don’t be fooled. The small is a huge portion overall because there are so many different items. Everything was delicious.

Went yesterday and reserved the tasting course. Easily one of the best meals both I and my husband have ever eaten. He had the Main Tasting course, I had the Sampler. He’s determined to try every single menu item now, and we’re from the US so this is going to take a bit. 🤩

This was our first experience trying Nigerian/Ghanaian cuisine, and my son and I weren't sure what to expect. From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, we were met with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, complete with traditional touches. The staff greeted us like family, making us feel right at home. The chef, who is both kind and passionate, reflects that warmth in her cooking. Beginning with the complimentary, refreshing hibiscus iced tea, each dish, prepared to order and infused with traditional spices, was a delightful journey through time, offering not only expertly crafted, flavorful cuisine but also an authentic connection to a rich and vibrant culture. We highly recommend MCUIRE to anyone seeking a truly unique and captivating dining experience. Tip: It's best to call ahead and place your order, so it's ready when you arrive. Also, when they say spicy, they mean it! If you're still building your spice tolerance, it's wise to start with a milder option.

I think this has to be one of my new favourite local spots and I can't wait to go back! It was my first time trying Nigerian and Ghanaian food, so my husband and I each ordered the tasting platter meal so we could try a bunch of things and my mouth is watering just thinking about it! Everything is so amazingly well seasoned, the flavours are phenomenal! Even the rice dishes were so delicious! I also had their tea and my husband had their sorrel/hibiscus drink. The way they served the tea with cocoa and sweet cream on the side was beautiful. And their dishes are plated so beautifully as well. Prices are very reasonable also. Wish I could give more than 5 stars!

We had dinner there during our recent trip in Niagara Falls. It was a great experience. The food was very tasty, the service was great, the price was very reasonable compared to the area, and the portions were large. If we go to the area, we will visit there again.
