I was so impressed with the customer service at Mayyas Express! The two gentlemen working there were incredibly welcoming and polite, creating such a warm and inviting atmosphere. The chef made me a stunning falafel wrap entirely from scratch. It was clear how much pride he takes in using fresh ingredients and ensuring his food is not only healthy but beautifully prepared. The attention to detail and care for his customers truly stood out. This place is a gem, and I can’t wait to go back. This truly was a 10 out of 10 experience! The owner welcomed us with warmth and friendliness that instantly made us feel at home. He generously shared the story behind his restaurant and the care that goes into each dish. As I stepped inside, the first thing that captured my attention was how clean and bright the restaurant was—it was inviting in the best possible way. The complimentary water and coffee were such thoughtful touches, adding to the welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. I had the chicken shawarma plate and was introduced to the garlic paste (not just a sauce!), which was nothing short of amazing. The food was served hot and bursting with flavor. As the child of Caribbean parents, I can easily spot food that lacks seasoning, but this was definitely well seasoned. I would recommend this place and can’t wait to return for another meal!

Best shawarma in the area for sure. Meat tastes really good so they don’t need to cover it with tons of garlic sauce like most places do. Great selection of rice and breads too!

I’ve eaten here a few times now and each time it’s been consistently good! I love the taste of the hummus which feels like it’s been homemade each time. The portion size is amazing for the chicken platter which is my go-to. Several rice options for your liking as well as salad options. Overall, a great place to get shawarma (I personally prefer the chicken). The owners are also extremely nice and they’ve made the experience overall pleasant on each visit.

Ordered two mixed shawarmas, they heat it in a pan after cutting it so the meat is hot and extra flavourful, good portions and great service. The owners straight up offered me bottled water and coffee saying it’s all complimentary. Btw their coffee was surprisingly good. Will be back the next time I’m craving shawarmas!

An amazing family owned business with INCREDIBLE falafel and shawarma. The falafel was the softest and most delicious I’ve ever had, and the owners were so sweet! Will definitely be back to try more things!

Haven’t had a satisfying shawarma like this for a while now. The beef shawarma was smokey and creamy. They spread a thick layer of garlic sauce and hummus which enhances the taste. The complimentary coffee gives the service a whole 10/10 for me. Forsure would keep on visiting this place when i crave a shawarma.
