Maurya East Indian Roti serves rotis from North and South India. This place makes my favorite roti. We order pickup a lot & always enjoy our meals from here. The staff are friendly and, again, awesome food! Pretty good prices as well, fairly standard, especially for the pretty big portion sizes. Most roti are basically 2 meals in one because they're so big. This place is a great & consistent dinner option!

Ordered a lamb vindaloo but the curry itself tasted like sweet jam when it shouldn’t taste like this. Got a side of mango chutney but it tasted like mould for some reason. meat quality was okay. Not sure maybe I just didn’t choose right items from the menu but I didn’t enjoy the lamb vindaloo at all.

I tried Goat Curry for 20$ It was okay. Stew was watery. It was Pricy for this dish in a damp dark dine in filled with kitchen fumes.

We had Chicken Qorma, Lamb Biryani and Mango Lassi. Lamb Biryani and Mango Lassi were delicious and recommended. Chicken Qorma was average and was mostly gravy with few small pieces of chicken. Ambience was okay but there were hardly any cutleries provided. Just two plates with Two spoons (No forks or separate serving spoons for the dishes)

A sister restaurant to my other favourite, Mother India! I was pleasantly surprised to discover their Liberty location called Maurya. It’s the same menu and as an added bonus, this location has a patio :)

Excellent. This is the second Maurya spot I've tried. The chefs seem to cook things a little differently compared to the Etobicoke location, which is okay, it's nice for a chain to serve different interpretations of the same dishes at different locations. As with the Etobicoke location, I tried the mutton biriyani and the butter chicken. Both were good, but I liked the Etobicoke location's interpretations better. This location is much nicer inside and at a prime location in Liberty village. I must say though, that no one beats The Host for Indian food. If the Host is a 10, I'd give this location a 9. I've tried the biriyani, shrimp korma, and the butter chicken here. All were good.

Our evening at Maurya East Indian Restaurant was a delightful gathering with friends, filled with a diverse array of flavorful dishes. The Chicken Chilli and Chicken 65 appetizers set the tone with their spicy kick and crispy textures. Moving on to the main course, the Egg Fried Rice and Shrimp Fried Rice were both excellent choices, offering a light and satisfying complement to the vibrant flavors of the evening. The soups were a standout, with the Muligatwani (Dal) Soup providing a rich and hearty experience, while the Tomato (Shorba) Soup offered a refreshing interlude. The restaurant's inviting atmosphere and attentive service enhanced our overall enjoyment. Maurya's diverse menu and delicious offerings made for a memorable evening, and we're eager to return and explore more of their enticing options.
