Matt's Burger Lab Adelaide

This underground spot is definitely worth the visit! The burgers are super yummy, the meat is flavourful and juicy, the fries are well seasoned and the side sauces are delicious as well. The only thing I disliked was that the biscoff milkshake was literally just a vanilla milkshake with a few cookie crumbs crushed inside. Ideally it should have the biscoff spread to actually emulate the biscoff flavour considering it’s called a biscoff milkshake. Otherwise everything was good and we’d definitely come back!

Burger was great. Gave me that home made backyard burger feel. Not like a processed slab of ground chuck. In a hard pressed patty. More like a soft juicy hand prepared patty . The combo of pickles and fried onions and ketchup. Awesome

Matt's Burger Lab is a great spot to hit up in downtown Toronto if you're looking for a late late night bite. The space is ok. It was clean and had a good vibe overall. The service was alright. Not overly friendly or helpful. The food was great. My double smash doesn't look like other photos. Mine was far more "wet" than what I'm seeing others post. Nevertheless it was a great burger. The poutine was great. 4 x 🍔🍔🍔🍔

The burger was absolutely delicious, juicy, packed with flavour, and cooked perfectly. Each bite was better than the last, with a great balance of seasoning and freshness. You can tell a lot of care goes into making each burger. I'll definitely be coming back to try more on the menu!

Delicious burgers that are fair priced and generous portions. Love that it was beef bacon and not pork. Fries were good. Cool atmosphere but had to take stairs to enter so not sure about accessibility for people who have physical disabilities. The music was also a little bit too loud. Service was great.

I recently went to Matt's Burger Lab when I found out they could do gluten free burgers. For a fast food style place, the service was very pleasant. I ordered the Mushroom & Egg. It was fine. The onion and lettuce were a bit soggier than I would have hoped, and there wasn't as much of a taste of mushroom as I would have hoped (given the name). The smash patty was also a tad dry. I did think the gluten free bun was pretty good. Patty aside, the combination I ordered may not have been to my liking. However, the burger overall was good enough that I'm willing to give a different burger a try in the hopes that I will prefer it!

LOVED the burger, I wish I had gotten a double patty instead of single. The fries were a little too salty for me, but I just don’t like salty fries. Service was so nice and place was super clean. Everything is halal too in the menu.

Excellent burger joint for some quality food. The onion rings were great & burger was perfect. A bit pricey but if you get the daily special, I think this is the spot to come for lunch. No nasty oil burps after, like other options. Only downside to this location is that it's in a basement.
