Great sushi restaurant. Good service. Food is excellent for the price point. We keep returning here time and time again with no dissatisfaction whatsoever. Tapanyaki and ACE option are great value with delectable taste. Desert is delicious too. Keep up the great work!!

Came here over the holidays and they offered a very reasonable AYE Teppanyaki and Sushi for $50. Food was decent, but we weren’t prepared for the huge amount of Teppanyaki dishes. Chicken, salmon, duck, beef, bacon, mushrooms… I missed a few. While it feels wrong to complain about that much food, it came with some guilt of the amount left over, can’t be taken home, and I suppose thrown out. Not the best quality or techniques used, but the service was friendly and fast and the place was well kept and clean.

I visited Matsuda Japanese Cuisine on December 26 during lunchtime and arrived around 12:30 PM with no wait to be seated. I opted for the holiday lunch menu for sushi all-you-can-eat (AYCE). I also ordered hot tea, which costs $1.50 per person. The good news is that you can ask the server to refill the hot water. Additionally, there’s a 10% discount if you visit during lunch hours, which is a nice perk. We placed about five rounds of orders. However, as time went on, the speed of food delivery noticeably slowed down. The sashimi was average, and to be honest, the overall menu was just okay—not bad, but nothing extraordinary either. One disappointing part of the experience was that they ran out of the coffee ice jelly dessert when we tried to order it. It was surprising since the restaurant had only been open for less than three hours at that point. If you’re looking for a convenient AYCE spot with some decent deals, this location might be worth a try, but don’t expect anything extraordinary or perfectly managed.

This is one of the Best AYCE Japanese restaurant. We were hoping to do the Tapanayaki with sushi AYCE but without a reservation there was no way to get a table! So we settled for sushi All you can eat only, and it was GREAT! My girlfriend and I are AYCE regular but this place had way more choices! They have selection like we never seen before! Such as kimchi seafood soup, flounder fish, fried shrimp with mayo (omg so good!!) and scallops sashimi and many different choices of dessert (creme brûlée was sold out that day) but we had so much food, it was delicious !! I am arranging my friends and i to all go here next time!

Wendy and make as a chef was amazing. Usually its 2 rounds - 1st round is everything prepared live in front of you by the chef and next round you can take whatever u want again. But the food is so good that you wont be able to go further to 2nd round although you can still go for it and explore your tummy.

Ever since Taste of Japan on Woodbine closed down, I haven't had teppanyaki. It was great to experience that again here although the theatrics weren't as high and I felt like the cooking time ended very quickly. Our chefs were still very friendly and fun tho. The food was not bad but some of the meat was overcooked. We also had the ayce sushi along with the teppanyaki, and I have no idea how we managed to eat everything. The sushi was really good and they actually have quite a wide selection of sashimi, rolls, tempura, and other items. Overall this is a fun place to go with family especially for celebrations, but not somewhere I'd go frequently

One of a kind AYCE. Service was beyond expectations. Their food was unique yet delicious compared to other AYCE restaurants in the city. Keep in mind that is you want the tepanyaki experience, remember to make reservations. I dont recommend their soups but the rest of the food was phenomenal
