Mary Brown's Chicken

i have been buying meals from this MB location for years, i am aware of the previous employees and new employees, the new employees do not wear deodorant. This is a fast-food establishment, the owner(s) of this MB location must be aware of employee cleanliness or the lack of... please inform ALL employees to wear deodorant. It ruins one's appetite, and no amount of sorry's can make up for it. I have attached receipts and images of my Mary Browns order so no one starts to claim this is a fake google review. When we walk into ANY fast-food establishment it should smell like FOOD not sweat/odour. Disgusting. I will be reporting to City of Toronto food and health inspectors.

The Big Mary sandwich is my favourite chicken sandwich. However, this location consistently FAILS!! The piece of chicken is SO THIN, and as a result always DRY.. it’s literally half the size of all the other Mary Browns locations I visit.. I’m not sure if it’s a Scarborough thing, but it’s an embarrassment to the Big Mary name.. More like Mini Mary Sandwich!!!!!! Save your time and money if your looking for a proper Chicken Sandwich… Go to Popeyes or Jollibee

The fried chicken is the star of the menu. It’s crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and seasoned to perfection. The breading has a satisfying crunch and a well-balanced flavor that isn’t overly greasy. I opted for the classic three-piece meal, and each piece was cooked just right. Good service

Fast food with food brought to your table? Only here I've experienced that, really awesome service! The chicken sandwich was cooked to perfection as well. Properly seasoned crispy chicken patty and soft and fluffy buns.

Food was pretty good. The chicken wings were good I think the sauce softened them so they weren't to crispy. The "swicy" which I assume is sweet and spicy was barely sweet and spicy more so savory with a hint of spice. You get 6 wings in an order. Fries were good.

Tasty options among a diverse menu - there is a wide selection of combos to choose from, along with side dishes and desserts. The sandwiches and fried chicken are both great. The food is always prepared fresh to-order in a reasonable amount of time. Service is quick and the staff are happy to make suggestions when placing your order. This is primarily a take-out spot; however there is a decent amount of parking outside, and seating is available inside for dining in. Worth stopping by if you're in the mood for fried chicken!

Honestly, I was a little bit disappointed with chicken here. I purchased the 9 piece feast which consists of 9 pieces of chicken, medium salad, medium gravy and medium tatters. I got half regular and half spicy chicken. Compared to other spicy chicken from competitors beginning with a "P", Mary Browns is more spicy. Pieces are big but a bit in the dry side (not juicy). Tatters don't have much in the flavor side but you get alot for medium size and the gravy is "brown gravy", nothing special. The coleslaw salad was average as well. Total cost was just over $40. Staff are friendly and helpful from start to finish of my order.

"Made Fresh from Scratch" is definitely is how I described the "freshness" of the fried chicken. It was "CRISPY" and definitely "JUICIEST" fried chicken probably in my life! The staff were friendly but gave the customers the scripted line of "10-12" minutes. You have a huge line up because of "National Fried Chicken Day" with Two pieces of fried chicken and potato wedges for $4.99. I waited like 35 - 40 minutes at least give me a free dipping sauce or gravy. The manager should have been there to see the line up. I would like to see the "extra mile" you guys treat the customer so that they will be "returning regular customers". : )
