Martins Churrasqueira

We ordered dinner for 10 for Christmas Eve and the food was delicious. The seafood platter and fish fillets were great and kept nicely for leftovers. We appreciated the insulated bag that they packed it in. We will be back!

Very friendly service, place is clean. We have been to the Rogers location many times with no issues , however this is the second time we have tried this location and despite a minute commute ( at the most ) back home the chicken was cold once again, good flavour at least . We tied up the bag after receiving the food to ensure it remained warm. Black beans and potatoes were good and warm ( not hot) but we were dissatisfied with the chicken , at the owner please check your hot holding table as the food should not be that cold after such a short time.

This place is a total mess. Poorest customer service ever. We placed an order via phone for pickup. When I arrived, they couldn’t find it, asked for my name 3 times and mispronounced many times. I spent 20min waiting for nothing and had to leave. They are short on staff. Their only 2 people in there look very stressed and unhappy with customers trying to order there. Never again. Ruined our evening.

Every time we are in Toronto, we go to Martins! We love the tasty and authentic tasting Portuguese food (especially the desserts)! The latest visit was for my sons 13th birthday (he requested it) and the staff and food were exceptional!

We had a great experience at Martins. I am Portuguese, and I have been to several Portuguese restaurants outside of Portugal. It has always been a hit or miss, because the food is always just as good as the ingredients. Martins seems to be able to make food as good (if not better!) than that I am used to in Portugal. We had a multitude of dishes, clams, fish, meat, and they were all wonderful. Staff is also caring and friendly. I highly recommend Martins.

Haven’t been to this location in person but food is amazing ! The sweet sauce with chicken, potatoes and salad is my go to order. The cod cakes and shrimp patties are extremely fresh which is very hard to find now a days! Amazing amazing amazing!! I get it on Uber eats and I have not been disappointed once. My new churrasqueira ! 🔥🔥🔥🫰🏻🫰🏻

Seafood rice was one of the best we have tasted and would order again. We didn’t expect the portions to be big. Food was flavourful and we all left feeling full. Servers were very kind and patient. Food came at a reasonable time.

Love this off-the-beaten-path Portuguese bistro. Very cozy and the service is excellent. The food is alway good and consistent. My wife is half Portuguese so we know good quality homemade meal. Lots of self-imported Portuguese wines to be had and was recommended a rich full-bodied white from Alentejano for $50. Will always be our go-to Portuguese restaurant.
