We were excited to try the famous General Tao pizza after hearing so much about it. Although some reviews made us worry it might be overrated, we found it to be fairly well-rated overall. It’s not a pizza you’d “die for,” but it’s definitely something fun and unique to try. We ordered the medium size, which turned out to be a bit too large for two people, especially since we planned to eat somewhere else afterward. If you’re just looking to sample the pizza, I’d recommend starting with a small. If you love it, you can always return for more! As for the pizza itself, it’s good, but not the best pizza you’ll ever have. The General Tao chicken works well on top, though it’s essentially sweet and sour chicken. Just keep in mind that there isn’t much chicken on the pizza — most of it is fried batter tossed in the sauce. While the taste is still enjoyable, the chicken can be a bit messy and might stain your fingers, so be prepared for that. On the positive side, the owners are incredibly sweet and provide excellent service. The seating is limited, but I think it adds to the cozy and intimate atmosphere of the place.

Growing up eating Chinese food in New York I had to try this once I came to Toronto. This is a Chinese and Italian fusion restaurant. Ran by 2 lovely elderly Chinese people. They showed me and my family hospitality. The dining area is relatively small but does the job. I came for the general tsos chicken pizza and it did not disappoint. The general tsos chicken was piping hot that’s how I knew it was fresh. They also incorporate peppers in there to enhance the flavor. This pizza is so good. I don’t know how it’s possible but I was able to enjoy my love for both pizza and Chinese food. This spot is a MUST TRY if you’re in Toronto.

Pizzas are made with fresh ingredients and the base is not so thick and it was so mild in favours. Eggplant curry was just amazing must try if you are eggplant lover. Friendly place

The pizzas are one of the best in the town. My 100% go to place for a slice of pizzas on a regular day. The service is good too but little cold dine in area as is right next to the door , although is well ventilated. The tables are most of the time clean and tidy. Not too busy too on week days.

We ordered the general tso chicken pizza. It was kinda pricey, and the pizza was okay. It didn't feel like a fusion pizza but rather a pizza with general tso chicken dumped on it. The crust was rather soggy, and the toppings were really greasy. You could hardly pick up a slice without it completely falling apart.

I had walked by this business a couple of times and was always intrigued. I finally got the opportunity to eat here and it definitely won’t be my last visit. Let me tell you why Martino’s is worth the stop! Food: I was originally interested in the Asian Fusion pizzas. As you can see from the other reviews, they are a fan favorite! You can tell from the photos that they are very flavorful and unique. I decided to just get a slice of the Naples Margherita and I am so happy I did. The sauce was rich and savory. The way they heated up the slice was also perfect! I also love the variety of dishes they have: from traditional Asian eats to fusion pizzas to Italian pastas, there is something for everyone here! Staff: The workers here are so nice and I had a very pleasant experience with them! The person at the front was kind while answering my questions and attending to other customers. Space: There is limited seating here so keep that in mind! I came at around 7:20 and there was a good amount of seats available (3/5). This is something to keep in mind if you want to bring a big group. I also noticed that customers like to order takeout from here! The menus are easy to read and I appreciate that they had photos of their dishes up. They also have very cute figurines in front of the cash register and I thought that was a charming touch! Pricing: The cost of their food is very reasonable! I got my pizza slice for $5.10 plus tax (it was basically two slices). I found it super filling; consider the taste and quality, it is great value! Martino’s is an eatery with tons of character! I have friends who have expressed much love for this business and I believe that appreciation is deserved. If you want to try something new or indulge in a classic, Martino’s is a wonderful spot to go to!

Had to try the General Tao pizza. Chicken was very tasty. We were worried that it would fall off the pizza but it stayed intact with every bite. Overall pizza was good just felt like something was missing from the pizza dough to make it a go to pizza spot. Definitely would go back to try some of the Asian dishes on their menu. Prices are pretty fair and competitive.

An amazing 20+ year old family owned restaurant serving Asian and Italian fusion cuisine. The owner Lynn and chef Alvin was absolutely amazing and their customer service was exceptional. The General Tao Pizza is a must try for those who enjoy the sweet and sour flavours of the chicken dish. The flavours of the chicken work well with the cheese and tomato base of the pizza. The Naples Margherita pizza was recommended to us by the owners and it was also really delicious. I will definitely be returning to try the other pizzas (red curry pizza) and fusion dishes.
