The breakfast special is great, large portions and will keep you full for the day. The one thing I really like about Markham Station is that their eggs are high quality. The place is always busy so service can be a little slow, but it’s fine. No complaints

Food was decent overall. Server was really nice but she kept saying she’ll ask the kitchen but that the kitchen doesn’t like to accommodate substitutions like removing onions or switching to salad or something which I found a bit strange. Melon was ripe and delicious but orange slice was inedibly dry and shrivelled.

We visited Markham Station for breakfast over the weekend. It was quite busy, and the few female servers seemed overwhelmed, so the service didn’t meet our expectations. Unfortunately, the service was quite slow. It took over 15 minutes for a server to take our order, and once our food arrived, we waited another 15 minutes just for a coffee refill—even after asking, which is something customers shouldn’t have to do. This was a disappointing experience. However, I want to acknowledge and appreciate the man collecting dishes; he was attentive and quick to respond to customer requests. The female servers could definitely improve their efficiency, or the restaurant could consider adding extra staff during weekends and holidays.

Came here for breakfast a few months ago but I didn't write a review for it. Tonight we came for dinner but I was a bit disappointed with the food and service... Food wasnt amazing, to me it was just average. The service could have been better as it was not very busy and only a few tables occupied when we came. I believe the all day breakfast would have been a better choice because we enjoyed it when we came last time...

I have been frequenting Markham Station for over 30 years starting with their original location in Scarborough. Very disappointed with the food today. I took my kids out for brunch to introduce them to a 24/7 breakfast diner that I loved as a kid. My chicken breast was clearly burnt on one side but the cook had the audacity to conceal it by serving the chicken with the burnt side down. I’m not one to make a fuss about things so I just ate around it. The server, Mary noticed and said that she was going to show the manager. I appreciate her attention to details. When I received the bill, Mary had indicated that the manager had given me 50% off my meal. I really appreciate what she did for me and I believe that was the right thing to do. What I was disappointed with was that the manager did not take personal ownership of the situation to even come introduce themself and let me know that serving burnt food falls below the standard that is expected of their cooks and that the individual responsible will be held accountable for their actions as that negatively affects their brand image. Perhaps I was expecting too much.

My visit to Markham Station was underwhelming, as the food was just average in taste and quality. The restaurant boasts a large dining area, which can accommodate many guests. I ordered a burger and some wings. Burger found it to be lacking in flavor and creativity. The portion size was good, but the dish itself did not stand out in any way. The service was okish.

Amy is the best server, so kind, super outgoing, and recommended the best breakfast option - the super its French toast & whip cream + strawberry! Coming here the food it’s always delicious, the whole team and restaurant is great. Markham station has never failed for a quick and cheap eat!

I haven’t been here in over a decade and the reno looks great. We went for lunch and ordered from their all-day breakfast menu. Food is decent, as you would expect from breakfast items. My Spinach & Mozzarella Omelette was very cheesy, and I loved that. What was over and above was the service we received from Amy; she is on point! The booth seating was comfortable but the bathroom stalls are tiny, which is awkward when trying to move around.
