It was our first time at Margot and I’m disappointed to say we had a mediocre experience. It was not very busy when we arrived at 6:30, but decently busy when we left at 10:15pm. The atmosphere was great. The food was delicious. Oysters were fresh and the mignonette was perfect! The carpaccio was not super fresh, but it was seasoned great and tasted delicious. The sides were fantastic. The lemon potatoes and pomegranate brussel sprouts were absolutely outstanding! Great flavour pairing. The lamb chops, which were done sous vide, were not finished on a grill and missing that perfect sear which I love. The most disappointing part of our meal was the inexperienced service. At that level of dining and price point, the expectation is excellent service. Our server was clearly trying her best, and was new at serving. If she was learning, that was not clear as there did not appear to be anyone shadowing her, or coaching her. We asked about the oysters, she had to go check with the kitchen , and replied with “east coast” oysters”. Yes, well it already said that in the menu. She was not familiar with the menu. She had to come back to ask how we wanted our lamb done. We would have had more drinks had we been asked. We wanted to order wine, and waited for a while with empty drinks for her to come back. We got up and asked for wine from someone else. We ordered a bottle of wine, our server did not pour the wine for us to taste before pouring into our glasses. I poured our wine into our glasses during our meal, as the server did not come back to top it up from the bottle for us. She was not discourteous; she was quite pleasant. However, our meal was about 400$ for two of us. With gratuity it was closer to 500$. I should not pour my own wine, or sit with an empty drink for that price point. Meal tasted great…. I hope the service gets better.

We came to Margo for a company dinner and boy did we make the best decision! We were served by Bryce and Matty and their service was outstanding. I only eat halal and do not have alcohol so they accommodated us with halal options and made sure that myself and my non drinking colleagues could enjoy non alcoholic fun drinks all night. 10/10 MUST try again. Thank you Bryce and Matty for making our holiday dinner one to remember!

We celebrated a birthday party in margo. The atmosphere was great. Service was nice but the food is overpriced for quality. We had kibbah, which i liked but the stuffing was less than what you get in other places for less price. The seafood was good but again over price for quality. If you want a good atmosphere and vibe this is your place, but if you are a foodie, go to somewhere local. I liked ther mocktails.

Margo is an absolutely stunning restaurant, with a chic indoor dining space and a gorgeous rooftop. Their cocktails are not only delicious but also beautifully presented. If you go, you *have* to order the baked Alaska for dessert - it’s a must! I also went for brunch and ordered the chicken and waffles which were amazing. On weekends, they offer bottomless mimosas which I highly recommend. The restaurant has plenty of great photo ops, making it perfect for a girls' night out or a date night. I’d definitely come back again!

Excellent happy hour for drinks and food - consistency was great and service was amazing. I would 1000% go back just for their fried olives - just the perfect little bite of salty & savoury goodness. The Muhammara was also quite nice with the fluffy pita.

My simple advice is to start with the stuffed olives and the cheese saganaki. From there move onto the steak or one of the delicious seafood options. The entertainment value of this venue is also something to not miss. Twice a week Cult TO host’s an exclusive rooftop patio party - Thursday and Sunday - with a rotation of fresh DJs spinning dance music all night long. And on Sundays, guests can try free samples of a Bombay Safire’s special edition Gin. If you are planning to come to King West any time soon, be sure to check out Margo and the patio rooftop!

Do not come here for the food or drinks. You come for the staff and the atmosphere. It’s a vibe on Thursday I don’t know about other nights. MY bill was 1200 for some pretty garbage food and lots of drinks I should have kept a copy of my receipt I’m so angry because I think I tipped twice. 🤦♂️ This garbage branzino was $65 and the lemon potatoes had a lot of liquid. The oysters were 26 for half dozen, they weren’t that good. Do not go for the food!!!! Humble pie alert. I did not tip twice I actually didn’t tip enough and the people who run this place namely Amanda are fantastic. I changed my rating just because of how amazing the staff contacted me to address my concern and poor choice of words. I will leave the review to show the mistake I made about the double tip. I was wrong and out of line to even post that remark without more thought. Either way Amanda is great, the staff and atmosphere are great, the drinks are great. Lots of floors and lots of fun.

My friends and I came for brunch at Margo over the weekend and we had the best girls day out. We stayed all day from brunch to dinner and had the perfect Sunday. We were well taken care of by our server. One of our guest with allergens were also accommodated to and the manager, Amanda, came by a few times to ensure everything was overseen. She made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrive and we are currently planning for our next visit. Thank you Amanda and her team at Margo!
