Mantra remains a wonderful spot for high-quality Indian cuisine. However, one area for improvement is the quantity of drinks served. While the cocktails were creative and delicious, the portion sizes were smaller than expected. If you’re looking for bold flavors and a contemporary dining experience, it’s worth a visit!

I’ve had the pleasure of an annual Christmas with friends dinner here. The chef is amazing, the ambiance, the food, the service, all top notch. I certainly recommend this. Lobster was my favourite, so many other dishes that are just incredible. This is the place to be, don’t miss it just go!

Amazing food and service. They took us as walk ins on busy Sunday night. Everything was fresh and hot and homemade. Flavours were bursting through. Each dish different. Not a sea of the same hot spice. Would come back.

I had my 60th birthday celebrations at Mantra Don Mills on Aug 17th. Food was excellent, service was out of this world and ambiance was beautiful! Ashish and his team accommodated us in a such a short time-period and made my milestone birthday very special!

Hands down one of the best Indian restaurants. Food is amazing, chef personally came out to greet us, the chili Gobi, chicken trio, truffle naan, butter chicken were off the hook. Highly recommend this place. Beautiful patio as well.

Went here for summerlicious and was not disappointed. The menu was a great intro to the flavours that they had to offer. Service was friendly and the restaurant itself was cozy. Had the palak patey ki chaat, manchurian cauliflower, spicy spinach banjara, lamb pepper fry, and finished with the rasmalai tiramisu. Would recommend!

This is my 5th visit to this restaurant in the past 2 years. I am Sorry to say that I felt the food quality has dropped. Maybe there is a problem in finding quality Chef. We took Momo and chicken 65 for starter. They were good. However, main dishes were not impressive. Biryani was little watery and the paneer butter masala was sour. For the price we pay, that is averaging to $50 per person, I will expect better quality.

Overall: 3.8/5 Decent but clean Indian spot at shops on don mills! I wouldn’t say this is the authentic Indian food, you usually get that at a mom & pop spot at somewhere not as clean, but this was good for an upscale place. I just found it a little expensive for what it was, but there were definitely some great dishes worth getting. Ambiance: 4/5 - nice Indian classy vibe, dim and a good place to chat and meet with people for dinner. Service: 5/5 - very friendly, kind, and prompt staff. Food: 3.8/5 overall Pauw Bhaji garlic bread - 4/5 - I really liked this, with the Chana and different flavours - it was light but also really tasty at the same time. I’d order this again. Tandoori chicken momos - 4/5 - I really liked this as well, flavours were nice and it was like an Indian dumpling. I’d order this again for sure. It was soft but tightly packed with some good tandoori and other flavours. Samosas - 3/5 - I thought they were “ok”. I’ve had better and wouldn’t necessarily come here to order this again. Butter chicken - 4/5 - be mindful that this is a SWEET butter chicken. I liked it, but people who like spicy butter chickens would not like this. Spinach Paneer - 3/5 - I didn’t love this because I don’t like spinach curries, so they could have done it well, and may just be me. Great job on the apps guys, loved it!
