We have been enjoying delicious Chinese food from Manchu Kitchen for approximately 20 years. Cecil has always been great, going above and beyond…..until tonight, New Year’s Eve 2024. As usual on New Years Eve Cecil was very, very busy to say the least, we ordered 2 combination plates, #4 extra spicy and #6 (regular), when we got home and opened up our order, my wife commented that she could smell our sons extra spicy dish, it turns out she was smelling her dish which for the first time ever was extra spicy, I phoned the restaurant and explained the situation to the person on the phone and asked to speak to Cecil directly, instead he relayed the message that I just wanted some regular non spicy Lo mein like I ordered and told him that it was me on the phone and I wanted to talk to him, Cecil said he couldn’t help me today but would take care of me the next time, normally that would be ok but this left my wife only eating a couple of chicken balls and nothing else We are so upset and disappointed, we have been customers for 20 years but I’m sorry to say Manchu Kitchen has regrettably lost our business, sorry Cecil but this was not a good example of customer service

Was enjoying my noodles until i chewed on this piece of plastic. Totally turned me off finishing the rest of my food. Really disappointing. Wont return.

Owner is super kind and courteous. The food is the best in the region. I love the long dry ribs, reminiscent of a spot in Whitby we loved growing up. Portions are absurdly generous. Try it!

Yum!!! Consistently delicious! We have ordered several times, including recently (New Years), when we ordered Dinner for 3 (B) & chicken mixed vegetables. While they were SUPER busy and it was a while to wait, the staff handled it well and the food was well worth the wait!

Great authentic Chinese Food. This guy's been in business forever. At least 30 years. The portions, freshness and selection is off the chart!!! Highly recommended this eatery only take out but closes early. You will be highly addicted to this Chinese cuisine.

They have raised their prices SIGNIFICANTLY and it is now sadly way too expensive for Chinese food. Although the food is pretty good, I refuse to continue to order from them with the ridiculous prices they are charging. $19.00 for Egg Foo Yong? A Chinese style omelette is $19.00! Fried rice is now $15.00 and up. I understand food cost has increased but this is just greed. Will never give them my business again.

NEVER AGAIN Egg rolls soggy Rice was hard and clumped together my husbands chicken was soggy breading he literally had one bite we are still sitting here starving and can’t eat this it’s literally not edible the chicken balls were the only thing kinda decent but they didn’t look fresh atall called to tell the person working and they were very rude :( never been so disappointed in a restaurant
