I went here today and got the lentil soup, which came to approximately $13.00, which I find absurd even if it tasted good. In this case, the soup was almost tasteless, and it was at least a third empty when I opened it. The attached photo is how much soup was in the container when I initially opened it. It was very disappointing and an absolute rip off. I will not be returning.

On a mission to try something Jewish (Olive Branch was on the list), we decided to start here. First up was the Smoked Salmon & Feta Omelet with Matbucha. The Matbucha was surprisingly hearty and authentic, adding just the right kick. And although the menu didn’t mention it, there was a soup option, so I went for the mushroom soup. Shockingly, it was exactly what I used to have all the time back when O&B’s in full swing! Makes me wonder if the owner’s moonlighting there! The chewy focaccia might seem humble, but dipped in Matbucha or soup, it all just clicked. Now, the omelet itself? Deliciously balanced, though a bit more quality check on salmon would’ve sealed the deal. Sadly, it tasted a like the generic packaged stuff. Next, the Classic Shakshuka, pure flavor and spice heaven! If Jewish cuisine has its own umami vibe, this is it. Similar components to the Matbucha but transformed when served with the right warmth. The generous portion practically demanded more bread on standby. Finally, the Malawach Pizza... let’s just say it was nostalgic but slightly confused. The flatbread gave me flashbacks to snacks back in Korea (different culture, same vibes), but it felt a bit disconnected from the toppings. Still, tomato sauce was on point. Overall, this spot hits the mark. Solid execution and fair prices. The only hiccups? Seating is tricky to find, and the ordering process could be smoother. Our table for two was hilariously small for the three dishes, forcing us to “rush-eat” the pizza to clear space. With a few tweaks, this place could go from great to unforgettable!

I have to recommend everyone in the Thornhill Promenade Mall area to try this wonderful cafe! I stopped here after some errands I had in the area and I must say I was very surprised to discover this gem. The owner is very kind and welcoming, excellent service and great coffee! I had to try their butter cookies because they really reminded me of the nostalgic cookies my mother used to make and I have to say they are so delicious! So buttery and crunchy and overflowing with delicious memories. I think I should join the gym because these cookies are going to be my new addiction lol 🤣! In short, highly recommend!

I like this place—good coffee, tasty pastries, and nice staff. We love coming every Sunday for breakfast or just to enjoy a really good coffee. The shakshuka is not bad, though a bit sour for my taste. I prefer the Margherita pizza because the sausages on the pepperoni doesn't taste as good.

Came here on a saturday afternoon, amazing food. Everything tasted very fresh, and the jerusalem sandwich is a must try. Would definitely come back.

Its my first time trying this place. I can say hands down its a 5 star for a small local restaurant like this. Its located in the lower level of promenade shopping centre. There are plenty of space to sit in the food court and they also have a designated area to them with comfy chairs. They offer coffee and food. They have a wide variety of brunch items as well. They offer sandwiches and pizzas also. We tried their coffee and pastry items. The croissant was super fresh and savory. They seem like to bake their own pastry items here. Overall, I liked the service and the quality. The ambience is also pretty chill and warm. As its pretty busy here its buzzy and the vibe is positive.

The ever-changing promenade mall has yet again replaced a restaurant. In the former Aroma location, Mamilla is pretty decent. Almost restaurant prices with pretty large portions and updated food court seating. My party was happy with their food. I was too busy staring at where the fun clock towers used to be…I really do miss those.
