Maker Pizza Avenue

Long overdue review. The pizza is outstanding. Everyone knows that. (And if you didn’t know that, give it a try - you’ll see). I really just want to highlight the staff. I’ve been visiting for years - but took a long break during the pandemic. When I returned, they remembered me and continued to treat me amazingly well. Like an old friend. So - 5 stars food. 5 stars service. Thank you to everyone at Maker! Always a joy to visit!

Dropped by for their $3.75 Slices Every Thursday special on my way to work. Ordered two slices, a pepperoni and Frank's Best. The pepperoni was average, nothing special. It could use more meat. The Frank's Best slice on the other hand was absolutely delightful. The unsuspecting combination of goat cheese, grass-fed mozzarella, caramelized onions, rosemary, sea salt, organic honey, sesame crust create a harmonious mixture within your palate. The two slices came out to a total of $9.33 after tax and a 10% tip. Definitely worth a visit for the Thursday $3.75 Slices special. Otherwise, while their original pizza pies taste absolutely fantastic (I have only had them at work and other gatherings), they are indeed heftily priced and not something you would order on regular basis.

Incredible pizza! Delicious pepperoni, tasty sauce and light airy crust. My first time trying Maker but definitely not my last. Very impressed with this pizza overall

Their large size pizza is delish but there is definitely smth wrong with this medium size. I had high hopes for Maker Pizza, but unfortunately, my experience fell short. I specifically ordered the pizza with sesame on the crust, but they forgot to include it, which was disappointing. On top of that, the pizza itself was extremely dry—something just felt off. The toppings didn’t seem as fresh as I expected, and the overall flavor was lacking. I’ve heard good things about this place, so maybe it was just an off day, but I was left unsatisfied with my order. Hoping for a better experience next time. It’s quite disappointing when you give $30+ for a pizza and u don’t enjoy it.

One of my go to spots for pizza for almost 10 years now. Quality, originality, and delicious food. You can’t ask for much more. My tip (if you like a little heat) is to get the spicy vodka sauce. It’s amazing.

Fresh ingredients, tasty and perfectly cooked. I usually go with the basics, and the Cheese Pizza did not disappoint. The sesame crust is also a plus, although I prefer it with less honey, the salty cheese with the honey brings it to a different level. The garlic fingers worth a try as well. There is a free parking at the back and the fact that you can order ahead is also amazing.

Been going to Makers for years. Always order the Large size mushroom pizza for me and wife. Today we ordered for pick up the Large Mushroom combo and added cookies for additional $5. For a pizza that cost $50. Today it did not live up to the overall experience. The quality has decreased. The pizza didn't taste the same. The mushroom wasn't as filling on the pizza as other times I've ordered. The cheese was also minimal. Overall, the experience for today's dinner wasn't satisfying. Drove over 30 mins to satisfy our cravings but was very disappointed. If customers are paying good money for pizza, it should definitely be consistent across the board. I'm not satisfied with my meal tonight.

Let me start by saying The pizzas were delicious..the girl at the counter Alyssa was great. It seemed liked she was the only one working. The reason I am giving this a 3 star is because of the atmosphere ambience of the rest of the staff. They were talking so loudly in Punjabi at the back. Not helping Alyssa nor interacting with her too much. It seemed like the 3 4 of the guys along with the girl were not at work but chilling at their home being loud and unsocial. We ate our slices and left but yes it was quite loud and obnoxious of them to work like this isolating themselves speaking in their language. It's rude to speak in another language when there's someone that doesn't speak it. I am indian too which is why I'm expressing my opinion on the matter. And I am embarrassed for being indian thanks to this uncultured behavior.
