We Just ordered food for the first time. We had such great accommodating service with the owner. Our family we were hosting from NYC. This was their first time eating Afghan food and everyone was satisfied and loved the dishes.

We ordered chicken karahi and beef nihari. The taste was just average. Also, Karahi and Nihari was served in the disposable plastic containers (even though we dined in), which was disappointing for me. One positive side was that naans were good and soft.

No frills good food, I enjoyed the chicken and beef seekh kabob. The salad was lackluster, the photos has cherry tomatoes and cucumber but I was given just lettuce and red onion with a green refreshing dressing. They made my order fresh and the gentleman wrapped up my food very nicely with cutlery and napkins. naan was very fresh and fluffy but I prefer butter and garlic to it or it need a chickpea curry to dip in. The rice and kabob itself was very tasty but needed yogurt to bring it together or some kind of gravy.

Maiwand Naan And Kabob Restaurant is an absolute gem! Not only do they offer the best prices on homestyle dishes, but their Naan is truly one of a kind. Made with love and a unique recipe, it's the perfect complement to their delicious kebobs/butter chicken. The flavors are authentic and the portions are generous. Highly recommend for anyone craving quality, affordable, and heartwarming meals!

I recently enjoyed the chicken qorma, which was simple yet flavorful. The naan was exceptionally soft and light. The restaurant had a clean and inviting atmosphere. The food was served graciously, and the staff went above and beyond by offering us a good plate without us even asking. I would highly recommend this place to friends.

If you're looking for decent, fresh and fast food, this is your spot. It's more of a take out restaurant with limited seating for dining in. We got the beef kebab and chicken shishkabab combo with an a la carte side thandori chicken. The thandori chicken was probably my favourite and was full of flavour. I wasn't a big fan of the sauces, they were too runny. The naan was nice and hot but would have been nicer with butter and garlic. We really wanted to try to biryani and asked if we could substitute the regular rice for it, even if we had to pay more and we couldn't. It would be a nice option cuz we ended up getting too much rice, we packed it tho, obviously. The side salad was also pretty basic, could even go with out it. The service definitely wasn't great. I'm a friendly person and greated the employee with the smile but he was not personable at all. As a take-out place, it's great and very decently priced. The 2 of us enjoyed our meal for $40.

Excellent food and staff. Owner Waqar and his team make some great food. The naan is huge but tasty nonetheless. Highly recommended, will come here over Bamiyan Kabob from now on since it'a closer to me.
