In a neighborhood full of incredible Ethiopian options, I’m so glad we chose this place. The service was very friendly, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was so welcoming. The two women bringing out food were so nice and hospitable, and even brought over popcorn after our meal. One offered us coffee and while we didn’t have time, I so wish we would have taken her up on the offer because if it was like everything else from Maida, it would no doubt be delicious. Definitely recommend Maida if you find yourself in the neighborhood.

I visited the restaurant with my Friends for the first time the owner beriha came and great us her smile and aproach was so amazing she's very professional and the food its very delicious. Most of the food i have been tasted all are delecious tibis, vegetable, kitifo, doro wet.... I become loyal customer since i visited her restaurant. Location wise and the survice is fantastic. Twice me and my freinds arround 20 people celebrate new year and easter the place is wide accomodate many people. Ms. Bariha thank u so much for ur warm welcoming and fantastic service me and my Friends r satisfied.

Surprised this place wasn't busier! My party got the vegan platter (which isn't listed on the menu) and everything was fabulous—you really can't go wrong. The servers were friendly and prompt, and they even offered us a little extra shiro so we could finish our injera. The music isn't too loud, but there are a couple big TVs over the bar, which I found distracting.

Tried Ethiopian food for the first time and it was so amazing. We had the vegan dishes and it was so yummy. Spacious place good to go with a bunch of friends. Highly recommend!

Maida restaurant is one of the best Eritrean restaurants in Toronto. The foods, the atmosphere and the customer service are all amazing 🤩🍾👍🏽.

Had a great time celebrating our friend's birthday 🎂. It's very clean place. We wanted to try something new and the food is amazing 👏. The owner is very accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend this place to everyone you wish to try Eritrean food .

We had a fantastic meal here last night. If you're looking for an affordable, delicious restaurant in the area, check this spot out. We requested a platter for two and went with the suggestion of sirloin two ways and an array of vegetarian dishes. No disappointments. Everything is fresh and the restaurant, while not fancy, has a warm and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Wonderful restaurant. The service was friendly, sincere and professional. Our server instilled absolute confidence when we asked if they would simply put together a patter of veggie and meat dishes, and he most genuinely assured us we wouldn't be disappointed. And we certainly weren't disappointed. Some of the best Eritrean/Ethiopian food we've ever had; about 8 veg and 2 beef dishes - very fresh and flavourful. The restaurant has a relaxed, modern clean aesthetic, very comfortable and stylish but not the least bit contrived. The bright ladies' bathroom has to be one of the cleanest in the city. And tremendous value- we had a beer, 2 mixed drinks, and enough food to easily feed 3 ppl - tax in came to just $66 before tip.
