This restaurant is a nice place to get xinjiang dishes. Their skewers, dapanji chicken, mushrooms, jelly noodles, and roasted lamb racks were among the items we ordered. The service was good, atmosphere was comfortable, and washrooms were well kept. The taste was simply sensational. All the food was seasoned exceptionally well and tasted flavourful. The spice was not overwhelming but also not nonexistent. I strongly recommend coming here for a delicious meal, mainly focused on meats but their other dishes like beef green beans were just as delicious. Thanks.

I have visited this place in Woodbine during lunchtime with my officemates. Then also went for dinner with friends. We were surprised that food is flavourful and in big portions. It was mild enough that we have requested for some dishes and some also spicy. We enjoyed it a lot and love the dishes like the Spicy julienne potato salad, Mini BBQ lamb skewers, Beef-onion roll pancake and dumplings.

Amazing food. Second time visiting from NY and they did not disappoint. Food was really well seasoned and spiced perfectly! Never thought we’d like this type of cuisine. They are pretty affordable too because the portions are big. They offer free soup once you order and that was really good as well. We got our food steaming hot and fresh really quick, we were shocked with the service.

Magical Taste of China is a great option for anyone seeking authentic Halal Xinjiang cuisine. The menu features bold flavors through an array of dishes that highlight the use of cumin, chili powder, garlic, saffron, and Sichuan peppercorns. The bbq skewers are perfectly grilled and infused with rich spices, while the smashed cucumber salad have always been a refreshing appetizer for me. While I'm personally not a fan of lamb, I've been told the lamb skewers are especially good here. The portions are quite big, so it's better to come with more people if you want to try lots of dishes. The service is attentive and friendly. The woodbine location also have two small rooms available for private gatherings. Because the restaurant is located in a shopping plaza, there's plenty to free parking. Of the 2 locations I've been to, I personally prefer this one.

The food is good! Good place to get skewers. I really liked the rice cake dessert The atmosphere is quite loud and lively. Just take note it's probably not the best place to get a peaceful meal.

Came with a friend who is a regular here and did all of the ordering for us. The value for money in my opinion isn't that great, but a few of the dishes we ordered were very good. All of the food and four beers cost us a little over $40 each and that was with a 10% VIP card discount. The lamb skewers, pickled cucumber, octopus, beef burger and noodles were very good. Probably wouldn't order the enoki mushrooms, chicken wings, or the bread dish again. Atmosphere is pretty good. As we were leaving at 10:30pm a group was coming in for a party. Service was good too - staff were nice to us.

This restaurant was recommended to me by some friends so I went with my own family for a celebration event. I can honestly say it was my first time ever being asked by a server to remove some dishes because I ordered too much.. I had to explain that I deliberately over ordered because we wanted a feast and leftovers to take home. Needless to say, we kept our entire order. Photos attached. We also had the hot savory milk tea and hot tea. All the food was very tasty! We purchased a VIP card for $20 and got the discounts for all the dishes and can continue to use the card for 2yrs. The only disappointment was the sweet dessert soup because it had more cornstarch flavorless fluid compared to how it should usually taste. Tax tips for 11 dishes and pot of hot savory milk tea total $270 is a pretty good deal in my opinion! I’ll be back to try the other dishes!

I am truly delighted to write this review after eating at this restaurant twice. I am really fond of Chinese cuisine and recently I tried authentic Chinese cuisine during my visit to China. This restaurant has reminded me of all authentic food I had tasted with flavour and beautiful presentation. The ambience of the restaurant is amazing with comfortable sitting space, subtle lighting and welcoming staff and service. The food was served within 15 minutes of ordering and was great taste. The menu offers a wide variety of seafood, chicken, beef, lamb and veggie. Everything we tried had great taste, perfect quantity and was beautifully presented. It’s definitely a must try for Chinese food lovers especially with full Halal menu❤️
