MAGIC CHICKEN TURKISTANBUL DONER(Shawarma)

If you’re a shawarma lover, Magic Chicken Turkistanbul Doner is a must-try! Their shawarma is incredibly fresh, juicy, and bursting with flavor, with an authentic Turkish doner touch. I tried both the beef and chicken shawarma—both were excellent! The staff is friendly, and the service is excellent. The dining space is quite small, so it’s more suited for takeout or a quick bite. Prices are very reasonable, making it a great option for an affordable meal. Bonus: there’s free parking available, shared with the plaza. Highly recommend this spot for a satisfying shawarma experience!

Some of the best fried chicken I've had. The Al-Baik is injected with hot sauce, and the exterior is perfectly crispy and greasy (which I like) at the same time. Stays that way even if you don't have a chance to eat it right away. Very flavourful and always hits. Just wish they'd take phone orders, but they don't since they've have a few no-shows.

Their shawarma is made with in-house pita and tastes great. We also tried their fried chicken, which is juicy and flavorful. It’s freshly prepared when you place your order, so you’ll notice some oil on the chicken when you get it. Their seasoned fries are also tasty.

Great spot @ VP & Lawrence. Was on a little bit of Shawarma binge this night and this fit the criteria perfectly. We went from Iraqi style Shawarma to Turkish style shawarma. Customer service was great, the chicken doner was great as well. Very impressed with how long it was grilled, added the extra crunch. Chicken was tasty and tender. Will definitely be back for the Al- Baik style chicken as I’ve heard great things about it from the YouTube videos I’ve watched!

Drove all the way from Mississauga and Ordered the chicken sandwich and 10 PC magic wings (spicy). The chicken sandwich even though was well made and good sizeable portion but the bread itself tasted kind of soggy and wasn’t fresh. Other than that the magic wings were perfectly spiced and fresh. Their Garlic sauce was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. Maybe will visit again and try some of the Turkish dishes they have as they looked very appetizing.

We went there to try the "Albaik" style chicken, but it wasn't that taste at all ! More than that the chicken pieces were so greasy. Moreover, we ordered half the order with spicy sauce. But we were shocked that the spicy sauce is just a hot sauce injected inside the chicken piece. So when you do a bite into it, you reach it. And its taste was not appetizing at all... The place itself is small with couple of small tables and one standing table. You have to wait some time to get seated. We faced an issue that our order took so long. And when I went to ask them about it, I was surprised that they prepared only spicy pieces while I asked to have half the order non-spicy... So we waited again to have our order served. The positive point that they offered us tenders free of charge for the kids as they were starving.. The conclusion, or what I noticed, most of the people who came to the restaurant they order the Turkish doner. So may be they are specialized in that type of food more..

This was not well done! Commend them for trying but albaik standard is there for a reason and this wasn’t it! The chicken was a little over cooked! The top level skin was extremely hard to bite into. Once you do bite into it, the ‘injected’ sauce (which is basically just hot sauce) is clumped and not appetizing. My recommendation would be to turn down the fryer temp and turn up the cooking time to allow the injection to cook thoroughly. The place itself is small with only a handful of tables and one standing table! The lady behind the counter was very friendly and welcoming! The food is reasonable priced and not completely over the top! If they’re trying to copy albaik this ain’t it and there’s definitely better broast available out there!

I'm extremely glad we drove all the way to try this restaurant. It was an awesome experience. The service, the food the prices all phenomenal ! Mr. Ali the owner ensure that his guests are fully taken care of and made our day with the beautifully fried Al Baik style chicken. It was really nostalgic to try their fried chicken served in the buckets with Garlic bread and Crinckle Fries. Would difinitely recommend this place.
