MADROCKS BAR & GRILL

We had reservations for 8 at 12 and waited until after 130 for our food to finally get served. Being as we were on the way to a Gens game everyone had to rush through their meal resulting in the younger children not finishing their meal. Other people came in after us and were served first and some left before our food arrived. We do appreciate and understand that staff probably worked late with New Years celebrations but the place was very dirty. Tables with dirty dishes left on them and the bathrooms clearly hadn't been cleaned.

I often met friends here after work, the focus usual wasn’t on the food. But I’ve been here a few more times during the day to eat and am so thankful I have !! The quality is high, presentation thoughtful to feed the eyes as well as your tummy !! I recommend you explore their menu !!

I genuinely don't understand how this place has so many positive reviews. I'm not one to complain but people need to be aware. We walked in and right away it smelled dingy and very run down- not a great start but we pushed through. We were greeted, seated and got our menus right away- about the only positive thing I can say. We ordered drinks and our pop was flat and tasted funny. We ordered our main and requested a side of mayo with the fries. When the food came- with no mayo- I requested a side of mayo again and was told it would be right out. 5 minutes later, my boyfriend went up to the bar to get said mayo. The food itself was disgusting. We ordered pickle chips and they were incredibly overcooked and the oil that was used was very old. We had a chicken wrap and fries and the chicken was very clearly frozen chicken finger strips (not even the good ones). The only thing decent were the fries. After we finished our meal we waited over 15 minutes to get our check and to clear our plates (for context, there was one other group of people in there that were only drinking beer- and they had to request a refill multiple times during our time there). I had to go up to the bar to request that we get our cheque as we had to go- I can't even imagine how much longer we would've had to wait had I not gone up and got their attention. In short, awful service, very rundown and gross food. 0/10 recommend.

I recently visited , and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. The cleanliness of the bar was concerning—tables were sticky, and the overall environment felt neglected. To make matters worse, the food arrived cold, which made it unappetizing and disappointing. It’s clear the kitchen staff is working hard, but the quality didn’t reflect it. What really stood out, though, was the lack of attention from the bartender. she seemed disinterested in serving customers, focusing more on chatting among themselves than ensuring patrons were taken care of. It’s a shame because with a bit more effort in cleanliness, customer service, and food quality, this place could have potential. Sadly, I can’t recommend it based on my visit .THIS PLACE SOULD JUST SHUT DOWN.

Great experience!! Awesome food👍👍 Chefs are really good and makes anything you want. Bartenders are sweet and very friendly. Prices are great!! Owners are friendly and easy to talk too. Would recommend for anyone wanting good food and drinks.

MADROCKS BAR & GRILL is an amazing restaurant that truly exceeded our expectations. We visited before heading to a concert and were thoroughly impressed. The food was delicious, with each dish crafted to perfection and bursting with flavor. The service was outstanding — Nupur Sim were especially attentive, ensuring we had a fantastic dining experience from start to finish. The ambiance added to the charm, with a lively yet relaxed atmosphere that made it the perfect spot to unwind before the show. If you're looking for a place with great food, excellent service, and a welcoming vibe, I highly recommend trying MADROCKS BAR & GRILL. It's a must-visit!

This restaurant boasts an excellent location close to the Tribute Centre. My experience is that serving staff were very friendly to guests, but unable to keep up after the dinner rush. I had the Madrock burger which was overly seasoned with salt and pepper, but once my order was taken, it was hot and served with ample fries. Some kitchen staff were quarreling in the seating area which made it uncomfortable for restaurant guests. Tables remained dirty for the approximate hour that I was there. Parking is ample in the area and the restaurant is on the ground level and very accessible. If given the opportunity, I will re-visit my review with an improved experience.

Perfect location for those who are heading to a Generals game, Concert or just browsing the downtown core. The interior is decorated nicely with lots of sports memorabilia. There are plenty of tables, booths and seats available at the bar. The patio has lots of tables and umbrellas for those who wish to enjoy the sunshine. 🌞 There are more TV's than I can count so any sports fan can watch their event. Go Bills! 🏈 We had: 🌟Mushroom Spinach Ravioli Pasta 🌟Butter Chicken Poutine 🌟Classic Burger 🌟Wings •Caribbean Jerk•Hot Hawaiian• 🌟Fajitas 🌟Chocolate Fudge Brownie We enjoyed every dish we tried. I would highly recommend the butter chicken poutine. It was saucy and delicious; A good portion size too. (Next time I'll try the Mexican Poutine) The wings were sauced well and they had a wide variety of sauces to choose from. The Mushroom Spinach Ravioli were stuffed with lots of delicious stuffing and sauced in a creamy rose sauce. The chocolate fudge brownie was definitely chocolatey and fudge-y. The perfect portion for two to split at the end of a meal. It was served warm and was rich and creamy. I had a Tropical Paradise cocktail and my other half had a Blue Lagoon. Both were picturesque and tasted delicious. The tropical paradise might be my new favorite drink! Service was great and our hostess Cece was an absolute delight. I'll definitely be stopping by again to try some of their other dishes and have a pint. 🍻
