Madison Avenue Pub

One of the worst experiences that I ever had. Services was less than zero, they sold tickets more than capacity you could not even move. Trash was all over the place. I am not recommending this place to anyone. Pool table was drowning.

Ordered a cocktail, tipped 10% instead of the suggested 18, and the bartender (thicker lady with a septum piercing) didn’t put any alcohol in it. 100% certain—let it sit and sipped from the top (plus, Malibu is pretty easy to taste). Went back and she passive aggressively refused and said to order more if we wanted alcohol. Disgusted with the service, but Maddy’s is usually a great place. Other people are also complaining about lousy service. Hopefully she finds a better job

Hubby & I are over 50 & have 3/4 of our children that are 20+. We were shocked when the guy at front asked us for id. Laughed it off when I grabbed my wallet for mine, but hubby didn't bring the card since he didn't drive but had it on his phone. They said they didn't accept it . Finally, he waved us off just to walk into a whole in the wall kinda pub. Food was undercooked, even for fish and chips. Drinks were tasty, but too much ice .

Discovered this spot during the 48 film fest. Such a nice vibe. Big enough for large groups. Has a pool table and does chess nights and a bunch of other cool events. Beer is cold and food is great.

I’m not from Toronto, not even from Canada and had no idea what a popular place this is for university students. Huuuuuge line waiting to get in at night, so if your looking for a nice dinner def go earlier. It has a nice classic pub atmosphere. Staff was super nice, had a nice chat with the Irish waitress. Food was delicious, absolutely loved the fries. Came back for lunch on Sunday, the food was even better.

Everything is fine except the security guard he was very racist with me and when I asked his name he refused and I used to spoke with his supervisor he apologised to me but when I come to next week they won’t let me in The Owner he or she has to do something Thank you

Had a fantastic time! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening with friends. The selection of drinks was not so impressive, with a less variety of local brews and classic cocktails. The food was delicious, particularly the pub classics, which were prepared with a unique twist. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The only slight downside was that it got a bit crowded later in the evening, but that just goes to show how popular this place is. Overall, Madison avenue pub is a great spot for a fun night out. Highly recommended!

THE BEST ONE! This is definitely the best bar in Toronto. There you will find different atmospheres depending the floor you are in this big old house. You can dance, play games, or just chill around this university environment. My favorite is the piano man that starts playing at 10:30 PM. What a wonderful place!!!
