MA Chinese Cuisine

For this being my first time eating here, I couldn’t be more happy with the food and the service!! The ambiance is upscale and relaxed, the food was tasty and portion sizes were great to share with other folks (I felt like the amount of food you got was worth your money too), the service was amazing too! Besides the food, our server (I really wish I got his name!!) was great too - He helped me and my mom guide the menu, as my mom and myself were overwhelmed with the amount of choices were available. He managed to give us suggestions as to which plates were more popular and which plates we might like based on dishes we already enjoy! For their drink menu, they have a range of both nonalcoholic and alcoholic drinks! They have some beers on draft, cocktails, mocktails, wines - I had their “Matcha Colada” mocktail, highly suggest that to those who don’t drink alcohol. For folks who need and rely on a wheelchair, they do have an elevator by their entrance dedicated to folks who are in wheelchairs!

This is one of my favourite restaurants in St Catharines. The food is delicious and the price is completely reasonable. We ate the duck and it was amazing! I fully recommend coming with friends, family or a date. The ambiance is gorgeous and the lighting is warm and subtle. They have nice cocktails with tasty options if you don't drink alcohol as well. I'll visit again soon.

We went here while visiting Niagara Falls. Great little find. The food was great and reasonably priced. The interior was great and calm. Food came reasonably fast too.

It's a 3.5 🌟. As much as I want to give this place a 5, I just cannot. Chipped dishes and sticky gooey table were something I was not expecting from such a well reviewed restaurant. I love the vibe of the restaurant and the service was top notch. Kelly or Kaley (sorry if I butchered your name) was a great host and was on top of her game. The restaurant has this industrial look but it's very classy and would love to bring friends and family here for a nice time and meal. If the few things I mentioned earlier are dealt with there's nothing stopping it from getting a 5 star everytime. Coming to the food, we tried the Crispy Shrimp Dumplings with the mayo/ketchup dip and the chilli oil. While good, was nothing more than 3.5 on 5. What we need their is a better accompaniment to bring this dish to life. Chicken Caserrole, tasted fine. A 4.5 on 5. Good for anyone who doesn't like spicy chicken although enjoys a sautey and Caserrole of chicken, mushrooms, green onions and garnish of fried Ginger. The Matcha Colada was a bit of disaster. I didn't like it, may be some people do... It just felt weird, the texture and the taste. It was a bit grassy in aroma and the texture slightly Sandy. Not my taste. The Shrimp and Pork Wonton Soup was good, could have more flavor in the broth but it was ok 4 on 5. I have been to more affordable and small scale restaurants who serve tons of flavor for a much reasonable price. So to be here I was expecting so much more only to be disappointed. I still have a few things to try SO I will visit for sure and update this review, I hope. Hoping the next time these things are taken care of. Try it, don't dismiss this place at all.

Fabulous doesn't cover it! 1st Ray our server ... so helpful because the menu is like a magazine. He led us down the path of perfect portion sizes, and we didn't over order even though we tried. The food was temperature hot, served to us staggered so we could eat hot food and savour each dish. He suggested it while we said to bring it all at once. He was right AGAIN! the food was so good I didn't even take a photo. We didn't even take out our phones. The atmosphere was wonderful, the music blended with the meal and our conversation. It looked a little dim at 1st, but over each table is a bright light for just your table, AND the table was solid. No rocking table - an irritant of mine when eating out. Decorations were lovely, bathrooms are individual rooms in a hallway downstairs. Super clean. Again I point out how wonderful the staff were. We went at opening and it quickly filled up. Make a reservation! We will be back!

Had a fantastic meal here. I think pretty much anything on the menu will rock your socks. My favourites were the glutinous dumplings and half chicken. We had a spicy noodle dish that was rippin hot and so flavourful. Service was good, felt a little abandoned at a few points but not enough to feel dissatisfied.

We discovered MA Chinese Cuisine after 2 days in Niagara Falls, Fallsview area. At this point I was deeply disappointed in every meal of our vacation. And then we had dinner at MA Chinese. This may have been the best Chinese food I've ever eaten. We're still raving about it 10 days later. I wish I could find Chinese food this good near me. The hot and sour soup was incredible. I'd love to have the recipe. Heck, I'd love all the recipes. Hong Kong green beans had a fantastic texture and were absolutely delicious. The Moo Shu Pork ... so yummy! Our server, Edward was extremely knowledgeable, very helpful and pleasant. The interior decor was comfortable and pretty darn cool. We loved everything about it.

This is high quality Chinese cuisine! Great atmosphere, fantastic service and excellent food. I got their signature hot and sour soup which was amazing (had a bit of heat too!), the Broccoli chicken, steamed rice and custard bunnies for dessert. All of it was really, really good! Highly recommend.
