Lucky Donkatsu

Food and service - both wonderful. Make sure to try their cheddar bomb hambug steak and classic donkatsu with sweet potato mousse. Everything was perfect!

I got the Classic DonKatsu with the classic Sauce. The Katsu was so good crispy and tender in the inside, the classic Sauce compliments the katsu beautifully. Furthermore the side dishes were very tasty with the macaroni side dish and radish also got the creamy soup that was also tasty. The service I got from STEVEN was also amazing he was very active making sure everyone is tended to and making sure everyone is enjoying themselves. The atmosphere was also nice.

Very retro atmosphere which is nice for a change. Very cute Christmas set up near the front door. Extremely friendly service and big portions of food. Food also tastes great! I cut up the food before I took photos but it looked great before haha.

Was pleasantly surprised with the warm cozy atmosphere and the yummy food! The waiter was very kind and welcoming and our food came in literally 5 minutes. The portions were huuuge and we were very satisfied by the end of the meal. Would come back to try the retro spaghetti!

I finally tried Lucky Donkatsu, and now I’m in a pickle... Brown Donkatsu and Cotolet used to be my top two, but Lucky just crashed the party with its retro vibes and generous portions. The star here is the retro-style Korean donkatsu. Thick, tender meat coated in a perfectly crispy batter that feels like it was fried by someone’s nostalgic grandma. The sauce is tangy, sweet, and full of depth, though I wouldn’t have minded a little extra (personal preference, no hard feelings). Bonus points for the retro spaghetti side, who knew my childhood needed a glow-up? But not everything was a slam dunk. The Hambak Steak leaned too firm and dry for my taste, and the cheddar bomb, while intriguing, didn’t quite work with the sauce. It rather felt more like a side character. Also, 10 orders a day for the Hambak Steak? The such exclusivity’s a head-scratcher to me. The cream soup was comforting but leaves you questioning the price tag. Service was top-notch—quick and cheerful, exactly what you’d want when you’re diving into comfort food. If you’re into retro-style Korean donkatsu or just chasing a blast from the past, Lucky is absolutely worth checking out.

Warm atmosphere and nice food. I got hamburg steak with cheesebomb + Fries and they were pretty good. The hamburg is very thick to the extent it is almost a cube, so portion is actually quite hearty, and taste and textures are very good. Coming back for sure

We ordered hamburger steak and donkatsu with classic sauce. The texture of the hamburger steak is so good and juicy which matches well with the sauce on top!
