I have been visiting Lucky for over 25 years, and it remains one of my all-time favorite spots! Even after moving to New Jersey, my family and I make it a point to dine here whenever we visit Toronto. The food is always delicious, and the consistency over the years is incredible. It’s not just a meal—it’s an experience that brings our family together. Thank you for creating such a welcoming and memorable place! Highly recommend to anyone looking for amazing food and great service.

I heard about this Lucky Chinese Restaurant My friends told me it is good So I did order Chicken fried rice, chilli chicken and chicken pakora last Sunday I have to wait like 40 minutes for pick up I was not really satisfied with the chicken pakora it was big and was stuffed with flour and a small piece of chicken and was like it was burnt and dark brown in color But other 2 items was good

Always a great value! Lots of spicy and non spicy hakka options, and cute dine in space. Quick service, no nonsense charges, a great space for family meals. A Scarborough gem. Menu has changed though a bit (rip fish pakora).

The chilli chicken didn’t spoil my mood. The quantity is great and the fact this dish comes with rice. What else we need! Chilli chicken was perfectly stir fried and you can smell the wok. And this means that the cook really heated the wok before adding the onions and other seasoning. Also the chicken was crispy. The Singapore rice noodles were great as well. It is moist and the seasoning was well mixed with the noodles. Loved the food and will definitely recommend to others try it out. Important the quantity is great. Keep it up!

We ordered food for takeout to bring home for dinner for a birthday and spent $100+ ordering multiple Manchurian chicken fried rice. Came home and all the boxes completely went bad to the point where they could not be eaten. Wasted almost $60+ on the rice alone. Call the restaurant to let them know the situation and ask for a refund, and they blatantly disregarded the concern, and did not even consider the possibility of a refund. Worst experience with this place, never going again.

This is one of the best hakka style Chinese restaurants in the neighborhood. Their food is testy with full flavors, generous portions size, and a very extensive menu. The restaurant is clean and well decorated and has a very welcoming atmosphere. The service is quick and pleasant. They don't accept Mastercard only Visa, debit, and cash- which is a little inconvenient.

The best value you can get for your money. We ate like Kings for less than $14 each. Spicy noodles and rice were out of this world. And the soups were perfect. The service was friendly and quick. Everything hit the spot. But watch out for those chiles! Can't wait to come back again.

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and the staff and owners are also extremely friendly. They were great at offering recommendations for new customers and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. The owner took the time to offer suggestions as I just couldn't decide on what dishes to order, and explained what's in each dish so I knew what my options were. Menu is extensive (which is great because I like variety and options based on what I'm craving), food is really good, full of flavour and just the right amount of spice, especially the chilli chicken! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to enjoy some quality Hakka food. Definitely one of the best Hakka restaurants I've been to and for their prices it’s 100% worth it.
