Our party of 6 arrived at 6:30 and asked to leave at 8:30 for another seating. Good server and lively atmosphere but many reminders of our 2 hour timeslot making the whole experience feeling rushed and frankly, unpleasant. The food was substandard at best and the server said they could not do separate bills for our group. Overall very disappointing especially for our dear friends who were visiting from out of town.

Rly cute gem for a trusty menu and friendly service. All food was great (arugula salad, tartare, gnocchi and lamb… esp the lamb) but I did throw a lot of salt on every dish. But that may be a personal preference for me, and a chance for the local freshness to shine

Nice spot for dinner, but nothing special. Food was OK not great. We sat outside for dinner on the patio so was not loud at all. The patio is cute and cosy and the service was really good. we ordered a number of things from the menu from the drinks to the appetizers to the mains. Definitely come here for the pasta you can taste that it’s fresh and made in house which is lovely. My only criticism of the pasta options is that most of the dishes had no protein. We ordered the coconut margaritas and they definitely did not taste much like coconut or lime. I felt like mine was a little watered down. From the appetizer menu, we ordered the mozzarella, which was really nice, but you have to order bread to go with it. We also ordered the steak tartar - I personally didn’t think this was great. It was a little chewy. I’ve had lot of steak tartare at different spots in the city and this one just wasn’t great. All of the pasta dishes we ordered were really good highly recommend them. We also tried the Brazilian steak (bistecca)- it had good flavor, but it was really chewy which is disappointing for a $36 plate. We left a few pieces of steak on the plate because they were just inedible. The Espresso here is amazing and I would recommend getting the desserts. They are delicious. Overall, this is a great spot if you’re looking for a pasta dinner …also, I highly recommend the desserts and some coffee - really good! Everything else was really lacklustre and I kind of regret ordering so much. Service was great and accommodating. We had a good time on the patio.

We came here for our anniversary and had a great time! The food was delicious, the vibe of the place was great, and the service was fantastic. I felt like the music was a little too loud but other than that, it was a great evening.

Delightful Dining Experience at Lucia’s Italian Wow, wow, oh wow! My experience at Lucia's Italian was truly delightful. The food here is exceptional, with flavors that tantalize the taste buds and presentations that are a feast for the eyes. I had the pleasure of trying five different dishes along with some sides, and each one was a culinary masterpiece. However, I must admit that the steak I ordered fell short of expectations. It wasn't cooked as a steak should be, and the texture was disappointingly chewy. Thankfully, the other dishes more than made up for it, particularly the shrimp spaghetti, which was absolutely divine, and the ricotta, which was heavenly. The ambience at Lucia's Italian is simply enchanting, making it the perfect spot for a romantic date or any special occasion. The staff here are incredibly friendly and attentive, adding to the overall warmth and welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant. There's a beautiful energy and vibe that permeates the space, making it a highly recommended dining destination—just steer clear of the steak!

Table of 5 went for dinner yesterday and we sat on the patio. They’ve got a fire pit or oven of some sort outside which also keeps the patio warm in the winter. The inside and outside is cozy & peaceful. Their Italian menu offered a unique variety of foods along with a wine menu. We were recommended by a friend crash and was extremely thankful for the experience. I haven’t eaten at a restaurant like this and enjoyed every dish. For starters, their bread they get from a bakery down the street was off the charts. Wine recommendation went great with our food. I was also told that they change their menu seasonally which is exciting. Our server Alex was amazing! Friendly and knowledgeable, I especially loved how easy he was to ask for anything. I feel that some servers are not only present and available for us to seek assistance so 5 star to Alex! We will be coming back again, hopefully in the winter on the patio! Can’t wait to try their new menu.

With lots of Italian restaurants in Toronto (let’s face it in Toronto Italian food IS Toronto food) you’d have to really pull out the stops to make your Italian restaurant stand out. Nestled in the DuPont and Symington area Lucia nails the culinary experience. Buts it’s pricey. Without a bottle of wine but including cocktails our price for the experience was $100 each. With perhaps $150. For dinner. Did I mention no wine? And two of my companions had the Summerlicious prix fixe menu. And I had a salad and spaghetti. Service was efficient. The music was at times so loud we could not hear one another (please see my other reviews on this topic). Worse we all agreed the staff would probably not welcome our request. I thought it was just me who felt there was a mood the staff were giving. Note - My niece lives down the street and me and my companions are professionals. I wore a tshirt and jeans. The point being these things shouldn’t be a factor in how you treat a guest. To be fair I think it just could’ve been an off night. Also need to mention the kindness of one of the staff (?) in taking an oversized package for me and holding it till we were finished. And so I’m erring on the side of generosity the 4 stars are for the food. I’ll have to come again to confirm attitude/atmosphere. Please let me know if you had similar or differing experiences. This is only my second “qualified” review out of 199! But my reviews are in the top 10% for a reason.

This place has a nice ambiance on the patio. The menu options sound interesting but overall, we felt that something was lacking in the flavour (maybe salt?). When we visited, they had a special menu item of pasta with shredded rooster meat which sounded interesting. The speducci consists of skewers of bbq lamb. The centre was a bit pink so watch out if you are avoiding raw food. They also had a starter called "The best tomatoes you'll ever eat" which basically is sliced tomatoes with salt and slivers of basil. Honestly, you can make that yourself at home... order something else. The restaurant charges for bread; we did not think the bread was special. There is free street parking on Parkman avenue and Perth street.
