One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Canada! Having dined at Michelin-starred and world-renowned restaurants across the globe, I can confidently say LSL stands toe-to-toe with most 3-star Michelin establishments. The execution, ingredient quality, and thoughtfulness in each dish were outstanding. The Japanese-inspired dishes were the undeniable highlight – absolutely phenomenal. While the French dishes weren’t exactly my style, they were still beautifully crafted. And the desserts? Wow. You know a restaurant is exceptional when the desserts are a solid 10/10 – creative, balanced, and truly memorable. Special shoutout to Leroy and our server tonight, Matthiew, for elevating the experience even further. Bravo, LSL – can’t wait to return!

We had an amazing night! The food is excellent, the restaurant is of the highest quality and the staff makes you feel at home. Sitting and being able to see the preparation of the food, the mastery of skills and the way Didier teaches his craft to others made this my favorite restaurant experience. I've had the honour of eating at some fine restaurants including Sushi Masaki Saito, Alo, Pearl Morissette, Enigma and The Pine, among others, but the experience at LSL was far above them all. I would suggest getting there early and interacting with the staff, hearing their stories and enjoying the event, because it is an event! It was intriguing to see the master chef turn on a dime when some guests had allergies and cooked a lamb entree on a moment's notice without any delay in service. One suggestion would be to provide spirits, I'm allergic to wine so I was unable to imbibe in them... Thanks to Didier, Matthieu and the crew for making this such a memorable experience!!!

Best dining experience we have had in the city of Toronto who are ready for their stars! Incredible evening from the wonderful host Lucie who created us so warmly, to the som’s sense of humour- to the incredible Chef Didier who prepared us a delight, the pastry chef who made the most amazing baby brioche and baby madeleines and the rest of the kitchen staff created a special evening. The food , the entire meal was perfection and the level of attention to each curated dish was perfectly put together on the most beautiful tableware and drinkware(Zalto and Baccarat) . Highest level to details in a serene environment. Hope to see this team get their much deserved Stars. Their team is ready . Definitely worth coming to Toronto for the experience.

Beautiful metaphysical interpretations of food as each dish has the history and quality of ingredients combined with a mastery of flavours that truly reflects the deep knowledge and creativity that the entire menu brings. LSL has an 11-course Tasting Menu priced at $680 per person with a $300 wine pairing option. My friend and I chose the wine pairing for this dinner. LSL stands for Leroy Saito Le Squer. With the harmonious combination of 3 masters including Chef Didier Leroy, 2-star Michelin Chef Masaki Saito and 3-star Michelin Chef Le Squer, LSL creates a unique and special French-Japanese culinary feast that will certainly become a highlight in the world’s culinary creations. Regarding the menu and the way the dishes are prepared, the combination of flavors that I experienced at LSL was very rich and harmonious, which surprised both my friend and I. LSL’s space is very small and cozy, with a maximum of only 9 diners per night. Everyone at LSL made sure that all the diners had a great experience while dining at the restaurant. Chef Dider was present throughout the evening which made the experience even more special as my friend and I got to interact with him constantly. I think this is what made the meal even more special as it would be hard to get that kind of personal attention in a much larger restaurant. The meal started with three canapés, a glass of campari with ginger, foie gras with coffee and passion fruit and a plate of comte tartare cheese with Vin jaune. The meal started off very interestingly with each dish having a very distinctive and rich flavour. The classic vichyssoise was delicious, cold potato and leek soup, with the leek being a special type of garlic from Japan then topped with uni, yuzu sorbet and shiso oil. The yuzu sorbet is an interesting addition as it transforms a cold soup into a colder ingredient, yet it enriches the entire soup. The spaghetti is sourced directly from Le Cinq, a 3-Michelin-starred restaurant from the Four Seasons Paris and finally in Toronto, made by 3-Michelin-starred chef Christian Le Squer. Chef Didier’s signature tomato dish is culinary perfection as it features seasonal Shizuoka tomatoes hand-picked from Japan, akami, a medium-fat cut of bluefin tuna from celebrity chef Masaki Saito, and a sumptuous caviar from sturgeon with gold leaf. The harmonious combination of special ingredients elevates each bite to a new level. CA$980 / person ~ 17.9 million VND (US$720)

My boyfriend took me here for my birthday and can I just say I was blown away. From the incredible food, to the welcoming staff, to the modern atmosphere, this was an experience I will never forget. Each course is extremely thoughtful from the unique taste, to the textures and the aesthetic. Everything worked perfectly and you could tell how much heart and soul was put into each dish! Thank you for a truly unforgettable birthday! I will dream about this meal forever!

Dining at LSL Restaurant was an extraordinary experience. This French-Japanese fusion restaurant masterfully blends the best of both culinary worlds, resulting in an omakase menu that is both innovative and delicious. Each dish was a masterful showcase of top-notch Japanese ingredients, prepared with the finesse of French techniques. The freshness and quality of the ingredients were evident in every bite, from the refreshing yuzu sorbet to the melt-in-your-mouth wagyu. The staff at LSL were not only knowledgeable but also incredibly approachable, which really elevates the dining experience. Special thanks to Chef Leroy, who has been an excellent guide walking us through the entire culinary journey. As a fine dining establishment, LSL truly excels, offering a sophisticated yet welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel both pampered and at ease.

I would highly recommend everyone who appreciates creative and delicate food at least try LSL once in their life. And trust me, if you try it once, you would definitely want to bring your family or friends who you love the most to try it with you as well. The whole experience in LSL was pleasantly surprising. They're into the details from the moment you walk into the restaurant. It would be very difficult to describe the taste of every dish, but what I can say is you can taste and feel all the details and effort that they make on every single bite. For example, the temperature of the food was just about right. The combination of every ingredient has the right balance, you can taste everything, you can feel the contrast between different layers but without conflict. I'm a person who likes surprises a lot, and I am surprised by every single course. They all look very exquisite and well-designed, but what surprised me the most is their taste. You can never expect how they taste by looking at them. For example, I've tried Wagyu in different places with different cooking styles already, but Chef Didier and his team made it uniquely, and it was simply the best Wagyu steak I had ever tried in my life. You can never imagine how well the Japanese herbs and Wagyu match together. The order of every course is very well considered as well. Some of the dishes may have a very strong taste (for example, like Foie Gras) but the one right next to it was harmonized with the taste of foie gras perfectly. What I really love about this place is the time between every course is not long and boring. Chef Didier and his staff tried to explain to us their idea of every dish, how they pick the ingredients and what they want to make with creativity. We didn't feel that we were waiting for the next dishes. Overall, if you want to have an unforgettable dining experience with the most skillful chef and the best quality of food, LSL is totally worth it.

LSL is an exceptional French-infused Japanese restaurant that has quickly become one of my favorites. The food is absolutely delicious, with each dish showcasing a perfect blend of French elegance and Japanese precision. The creativity in the menu is top-notch, offering unique and delightful combinations that never fail to impress. The service is impeccable, with staff who are attentive and genuinely friendly, making my visit feel special. The design of the restaurant is wonderful, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that complements the exquisite food. A special mention must go to the chef Didier Leroy, who is not only incredibly talented but also very friendly and approachable. It's always a pleasure to see the passion and dedication they bring to their craft. Overall, Michelle grade experience! Bravo!
