Our Mexican/beach resort inspired décor and live entertainment will make you think you are on that much needed vacation right here in Durham Region. We specialize in vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. Our ground beef is halal. This is a nut free facility. We are known for our specialty drinks. We specialize in fresh, frosted Margaritas, Pina Coladas, Daiquiris, and much more.

The owner & server were lovely & the place rustic and cosy. However the food lacked authentic Mexican flavours and the Fish tacos lacked flavour and portion size. The salsa did not taste authentic Mexican at all, it was a more urban fusion style. The refried beans tasted bitter & the sauces over the lettuce had too much mayo. I do hope this improves as the other things at the restaurant were note worthy. All the best to improving based on clients authentic feedback.

Stopped in on Monday night, and thought it was just ok. Some cons for me: tables are way too small as we had no room to eat when our food arrived, the seats are not sturdy-every time the family behind us moved we could feel it through our seats which was extremely frustrating, food was nothing special- found it lacked flavour and fish portions were small in my tacos. Some things that were ok for me: service was fine, decor was cute. Below average experience.

Stopped by and they found us a spot despite being busy. Appetizers and food came out super quickly! Food was super good! Service is great and will be back! I also love the refried beans on the side

Big slur fish tacos are delicious!! So good that I forgot to take a picture of the plate lol! Refried beans and rice on point. Everything tasted fresh. Atmosphere and restaurant interior is 10/10, gives beach vibes. TVs available to watch sports games. Great service as well.

I visited Los Cabos hoping for amazing Mexican food in the Durham region, but the experience fell a bit short. The vegetarian options were just okay, though you could give them a try. On a positive note, the virgin piña colada was excellent!

A great family friendly place. Nicely decorated with amazing food and friendly servers. The margaritas were also really good! We’ll definitely be back to try the other things on the menu.

September 14, 2024 I recently stopped by Los Cabos Cantina & Grill in Whitby for my first visit to this beach resort-inspired Mexican restaurant, and it did not disappoint! The service and food were exceptional, and the staff created a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. The menu offers a wide selection, with flavorful dishes that cater to everyone, including vegetarians, vegans, and those who need gluten-free options. Plus, they’ll adjust the spice level to your preference. Despite the restaurant being busy, the service was prompt and efficient. We started with the Corn Dusted Calamari, perfectly flash-fried with spice and cornmeal, served with a delicious homemade spicy aioli. For my main course, I had the chicken fajita platter, which came with four warm flour tortillas and a choice of six toppings from their list. If you're craving authentic Mexican flavors, I highly recommend this spot. It’s the perfect place to satisfy your taste buds!

Date/Time of visit: September 14, 2024 around 6pm. Nice sized patio in front the restaurant with gray ambience outside & inside. Calamari was excellent, great seasoning and perfect cook. Ordered the Big D Burrito, chimichanga style. I expected it to be more crunchy and it was a little salty for my preference, however eating it with the salad or the refried beans cut down on the salt. I will return.
