Lone Star Texas Grill

NEVADAAAAA one of the best waitresses I’ve ever had. From the moment I sat down to the time I left she was absolutely phenomenal. Her customer service was amazing truly I’ve never had such an outgoing bubbly waitress before like this. Love that. Really hoping her managers see this because she deserves the praise. She was very attentive and friendly. The food was great and atmosphere was really good as well. I would recommend this location to others.

We went for lunch and the food was actually great. I liked the fish tacos, but the fried shrimp tacos were the best. My daughter got the Buffalo chicken fajitas and it was also good. And of course the complementary chips and salsa are always great idea.

Unfortunately, our experience at this Lone Star location was pretty frustrating. It took 20 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us, and when our server finally came over, they forgot our order and had to come back to retake it. To top it off, when the bill came, we were charged full price for two items that were supposed to be half off for happy hour—even though we had double-checked the discount when we ordered. I’m not sure if the server was new or if it’s a training issue, but it made for a pretty disappointing visit. Unless you have a lot of patience and extra time, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Well, this is not the kind of place you come to for great food, but it definitely meets a certain craving. Service was great, our mains were good enough, but all our sides (rice and beans) were served completely cold. Hopefully fine from a food safety perspective, but pretty unappetizing and they went to waste. It’s a shame because the formula is fine for what it is, but the kitchen is sloppy.

Our food order took more than an hour to arrive, so we were already too stuffed with the on-the-house nachos and ended up taking home most of the food… The server worked so hard pleasing our group of ten on such a narrow, uncomfortable, tight elbow room table setting, and we must say he tried his best. Thank you

Went to this location in Oakville for the first time after previously trying the one in Milton and thought it was decent. I like the fact they give you complimentary chips and salsa especially at a time when alot of restaurants are tightening their belts and canceling a lot of things that don’t make them money they still continue to do this which is awesome and much appreciated. Food came out in a timely manner and it was good. Our waitress was very hands on and staff in general there are just very helpful and nice. The only reason we did not give it 5 stars is because we did request for a booth seat and there was plenty available when we got there as we arrived rather early but for some reason we were still given a table even though the restaurant was only partially full at the time. However we would definitely still return here if we are ever in the area and hungry.

I came here after a while this place have improved drastically food is amazing service way better and they have the live guac live setup. Recommend!! Great place great atmosphere! Fajitas are amazing! Edit came her after a while seems the quality has went down! And now they charge for guacamole with the fajitas- we wait so long after our food our waiter just disappeared and I was ignored by one of the waiters my kids started to become uneasy as well! Don’t think I’ll repeat.
